This is one of the best places I’ve tried in Omaha, the staff was super nice they have great customer service. The food was all so fresh and came out relatively fast. The banchan was all so good and their kimchi is amazing definitely will be coming back
My friends and I have a tradition of going to Korea King once per year, ordering multiple menu items to share, and feasting. We went last night for the first time since January 2022 and was surprised to see the name and menu change. The atmosphere was also different, as K-pop was playing, making it a very positive change from the complete silence Korea King had before. As far as the menu goes, more dishes were added, such as cheese ttekbokki and jajangmyuen. We ordered these items, as well as Korean BBQ, which included new side dishes and more meat than before but remaining the same price. It was all so delicious. Our waitress was also very good, checking up on us often. We were very satisfied with the new and improved Korea King, Arirang. Can’t wait for next year!
It is the best Korean food around there Highly recommend you you will never regret choosing this restaurant
The service was great. The Ramen and Dumpling soup was delicious. I look forward to returning to try more food.
Soooo yummy Love it
The best Korean restaurant hands down, excellent food and service! Now I know why it's called Korean King!Food: 5/5
Arirang is a new restaurant operating out of Korea King's old location. Korea King signage is still up as of mid-June and so that seems to be frustrating customers who walk in expecting to see familiar faces and a familiar menu. The new menu is smaller than their predecessor's and prices are definitely higher. The place was completely dead inside. I was the only customer at 12:30 PM on a Tuesday until another couple walked in just as I was leaving. I was hoping for some Pork Bulgogi, but it wasn't an option. I tried to order the Budae Jjigae to try something new, but the waitress walked away, talked to another employee, then basically came back and told me I would rather have the Beef Bulgogi. I wasn't sure if she was telling me they were out of Budae Jjigae or telling me she thinks I would rather have the Bulgogi which feels a little like I'm being stereotyped. Her English skills were very poor I eat in a LOT of ethnic restaurants and trust me she shouldn't be waiting tables. So, I settled for the Beef Bulgogi rather than try and debate the issue. Bulgogi was good and decently portioned, but pricy at $18. I miss the spicy Pork Bulgogi that Korea King sold. Banchan were meager. Korea King used to give you like 7 Banchan. Arirang gives you 4 and 1 of them is just a bowl of roasted peanuts. I may give them a few months to get their act together and give them another try, but in the meantime I'll just hit up Maru, Korean Garden, or Korean Grill.
Best authentic Korean in town. Great customer service at a reasonable price.
So delicious
