When I was here, they were having a 50% off sale on a lot of k-pop albums! This is a great deal, but keep in mind that the original prices were more than usual to begin with. A lot of them ranged from $28-$40. As you enter the store, it looks like all they sell is kpop albums and merchandise... but they actually have books in Hangul too! My boyfriend likes to read Korean novels, so we spent a lot of time here! We price checked a couple of the books and it seems a lot of them are $2 less what you'd find on Amazon! Good deals! Reasonably priced. If you're looking for Korean books or books translated into Korean, this is a great place to checkout.
This is one of the biggest Korean bookstores in North America! It has so many Kpop albums and accessories, K drama OST, Korean web toons and novels. It’s definitely a “must visit” place for Kpop fans. Price is on the higher end but you won’t be disappointed with the great selection they have.
A very nice and cute little book store. They have a good variety of Korean books including some cookbooks and K pop books. They also have a wide selection of k pop posters, K pop trinkets, and accessories too. I would definitely come back here again if the opportunity came along.
This was actually one of the first places I went to years ago when I went to manhattan with my friends by ourselves in middle school, I went here again and there's a lot more variety compared to 2017 and 2018. This is perfect if you're a K-Pop fan or into anything Korean In general. They have books, skincare, K-Pop merchandise of all kinds and Korean Comics Manhwa
This place is so calming and I love all of the things they have! If you’re a fan of a kpop group, I definitely recommend this place. The prices are a little high so be prepared to spend $$. I wanted to save money so I got 2 items each for $4.95. I got the BT21 Koya stickers and a Suga Permissoon to Dance button/pin.
Original Korean books and books translated into Korean. If you are looking for anything K-Pop, Korean book, movies, music, TV, it's all at Koryo! This place is amazing they have albums, posters, pens, toys, masks, and so much more. They have a section for books if you wanna learn Korean or you know and wanna read more books.
Love that store! I discovered it a few months ago, and now whenever I go to Ktown, I like to stop by there. Huge selection of Kpop merchs, albums, magazines, posters and more. I even found some of the older albums of my fav group that were not available elsewhere. Sometimes, it gets a little crowded but not bad.
The staff is very friendly and i don’t feel judged when shopping there. It’s a very welcoming place for all kinds of people with a beautiful atmosphere. They have a great range of products and the layout of the store is very easy to go through.
i bought the i never die album and i have a few things to say. its really overpriced and didn’t feel like it had much. but, my yuqi postcard came in bent. im not very happy about that. overall, the album itself was fine. :/
I came here yesterday to find a gift for my Koreaphile husband. To my delight this well-stocked, though rather expensive, shop even had the Lim Young-woong item that was top of my list. But the incredibly rude staff prevented me from being able to buy it... Upon finding the item and seeing that the plastic wrap around it seemed wrinkled and frayed, I picked it up to investigate if the contents were damaged. I heard a loud "Excuse me" and then found a shop boy standing right next to me to scold, "You can not open it!" I was taken aback at his anger but chose to just put the item down and step away. Then seconds later a woman from behind the till came over to inspect the item. She tutted so loudly and shook her head with such exaggerated animation that I had to reply this time. I walked back over and told her that the item was already like that before I picked it up. She clearly didn't believe me and instead parroted her colleague, "You can not open it!" I felt so humiliated that I had to leave. I wanted to support this small shop, but instead resorted to ordering it from the Wal-Mart website for less than half the price, including free shipping, and fast delivery. Sad, but at least online shops don't berate and belittle their customers!
