The kroger isn't bad, I like it a lot but the score is for their water dispenser. I have been 3 times in 3 weeks and it comes out in just a trickle. I ask employees and their answer is the water needs to filter. I've been to numerous other stores for water and none perform this way. Please work it out!
Make sure you scan the QR code and keep the website open to “prove” you clicked the coupon. Do not close it out or the gray haired old lady with glasses @ Avon Kroger will not honor. If only Kroger had good pricing and when they do have good pricing, it’s a great opportunity for Kroger to take advantage of a customer. COSTCO is the best by far & no games, but my bad for not planning better around COSTCO’s schedule on July 4th and having to rely on Avon Kroger. Lesson learned but nice place to open up a grocery store! Update: wife goes to Brownsburg Kroger and has same issue with “digital coupon” and was informed of stores having issues with “digital coupon” but was helped at the checkout line. Brownsburg Kroger’s newest customer!
This review is kind of a mixed bag, but, ultimately has a happy ending. I have a friend who sent me a Kroger e-gift card so that I could use it for fuel, but, it turns out, Kroger doesn't allow you to use e-gift cards for fuel, even though it says in the terms and conditions of the e-gift card that you can use it for fuel. So, I spent an hour at this location in Avon trying to get it resolved but was unable to get it resolved because I didn't have certain personal information about the purchaser. Frankly, I don't understand why an e-gift card can't perform the same functions as an actual physical gift card. It would be great if Kroger could rectify this. My hope is that in the future, Kroger will allow e-gift cards to be used to purchase fuel. With that said, the acting store manager I believe, Joseph, was really great about everything. He was literally on the phone for probably 30 minutes trying to get it resolved and he had to call a few different numbers to get to the correct department. Unfortunately, as I said above, because I didn't have certain personal information about the purchaser, they could not move forward with the process. Joseph, however, went out of his way to help me and bought me $30 dollars worth of gas with HIS money. Pretty amazing customer service and Joseph was cool as a cucumber the entire time because he knew I was stressed about the situation. I'm not mad at Kroger or anything, because I love shopping there. But, they really need to update the legalese in the terms and conditions with regard to their e-gift cards so that it doesn't say you can purchase fuel with an e-gift card. Joseph is an amazing manager and human being for helping me because I truly did need to get gas and he made that happen. There are still great people out there who want to help and I am grateful that they exist, because we need as much human kindness as we can muster in this world. Because it is only us, as a collective, who can change this world. Thank you for helping, Joseph, you are a good egg: I will continue to be a loyal Kroger customer because outside of this minor snafu, Kroger is still the best grocery store around.
This Kroger has the best sushi in town! The party platter is awesome and great for the entire family a lot cheaper than going out to a restaurant. We order party platter weekly and they make it fresh. And most of all, the sushi guys are really friendly.
Easily the worst Kroger in existence. Always have empty shelves here and there. No point going here when you can never get everything you need. Walmart is just down the road and is always fully stocked. Also I've seen rotting veg in the Kroger numerous times with lots of flies round it. Management must really just not care.
I did notice there are a lot of missing items from the shelves. Ironically it is mostly items brought from other countries. Crazy, right? The great part of this is homegrown businesses are seeing quite a bit of business. Needed to pick up the ingredients for Broccoli cheese soup. Easily found everything.
New store hours are significantly challenging for myself. The windows that I would shop here are no longer open. I was ok when they stopped being open 24hrs. Midnight closing was fine as was 11, but 10 is too early. Also no longer opening early is annoying in that I can no longer grab something before I leave for work.
The lost a shopper this morning, now that the don't open before 7. Third shift worker , I don't have time to wait around for you to open . Sad you don't think about our hours as well .
Good luck finding anything here they can't seem to keep their shelves stocked, must have a employee turnover problem.
Checkout was quick and the cashier, Marsha was professional and caring. The baggies, Ham was also professional and helpful. She went back to get me milk I forgot to get.
