Kura Japanese Restaurant

Been there several times and have always loved it but the last time we had the worst chef at hibachi! No personality whatsoever! Only cooked no entertainment! Only talked about his daughter and the trip they are about to take to AZ. And kept repeating that he's bringing his rifle because of the cartels there! The other family sitting with us was just as baffled and weirded out as we were! Food was still good but when you pay that kind of money you want it to be an overall great experience!

Kura is a great place to eat and very kid friendly but get there early or make reservations, because the place fills up fast. I am not a big sushi fan but my wife and kids really are and they say Kura makes some great sushi. I'm more of the hibachi food fan and love a good variety of food available for the hibachi and Kura doesn't disappoint. A patron can get a mixed variety of various proteins from the hibachi including chicken, shrimp, streak, scallops, and all with a mix of freshly sauteed vegetables. The only reason I don't hand out five stars to this great restaurant is simply because it feels really crowded and that puts visible stress on the staff and the questionable size of the place only increases that feeling. Overall, this is a great place for your Japanese food craving.

I was pleasantly surprised. The habatchi chef was really entertaining, the food taste was amazing. Honestly we had a great time. I would come back again and again. This was our first visit and sorry we did not try it sooner. Top shelf here. Huge party all happy.

We have been here numerous times. It used to be a five star review from us. Something has changed. The service and food quality isn't what it used to be. And on cleanliness... I'm absolutely no germophobe and this place makes me think it's a health violation that hasn't been found yet.

Date night, it was Sushi time and we got two spicy rolls and a non spicy roll. Salmon and crab with each roll was cooked tempura style, I know, the opposite of sushi but oh so good. The location became busy after we got there. There were many options beyond sushi, and definitely a place to come back to
