L A Nails

I am honestly super disappointed. I called hours ahead to make sure they would be able to fit me in. I told them ahead of time exactly what I needed done and they said they would be able to do that. I needed a set removal and then a new acrylic set put on with shellac. There must have been a misunderstanding because after they had already started taking off my set they were trying to confirm that I just wanted shellac but I reiterated that I wanted a new acrylic set put on and then shellac. I asked if that was still "okay" and they said yes. The lady who did my set clearly had no clue how to do acrylic. I have no doubt that she was more than likely fully capable of doing a shellac manicure very well but my acrylic nails look like I tried to do them myself. They are spread way past the edges of my nails and just look big and chunky on my small fingers. I love the shellac that I chose to put on top, I went with a blue/purple cat eye look and that part came out perfect. The actual nail job itself though is horrible. I wish I could upload a picture. My heart is broken because getting my nails done is something I do to treat myself and I was really excited to try the salon right in front of my apartment. I should have known better because every time I've tried to go in, there is only one lady working and I'm always told I'd have to make an appointment which to me that makes a place seem really "credible". Unfortunately I was wrong. I would love to go back there because the shellac was fantastic and would look amazing on a beautifully shaped acrylic but I probably won't. I am hopeful to go to a trustworthy salon this weekend to fix the awful nails I have right now.

Today is July 17, '19 and I swear that I just had the best pedicure of my life. Theresa did the toenails of me and my BOYfriend. She had no issues doing his nails. I took him there after repeated failed attempts at getting his ingrown toenails fixed by different doctors. He's had 6 procedures in the last couple years. I went with him although my feet are fine. Normal pedicure is $25 and that includes a soak, callous scrub, cuticle care, filing, buffing, and polish. We had amazing service. The other nail tech on staff is named Fae and she was so welcoming and pleasant. I WILL be going back for their service. Would recommend these ladies to anyone, even if you have nail issues. I really think the pain on my boyfriends toes is cured after this. 100% rating. Very very clean. Very professional. Very personable staff. Great prices. Great selection of services. Top quality polishes and equipment. Zero complaints from me!!

Went with my sister and we both wanted our nails done, my sister wanted nail removal and then shalac, I wanted acrylic. After we sat down and my sister was soaking her nails when Nancy said once her coworker was done with the other customer she would come help me. Long story short when she got done she helped another lady who came in after me if she had an appointment they should have communicated better and not told us I was next & Nancy said she would do my nails after she does my sisters. In the meantime while all this is happening Nancy is bouncing back & forth between doing my sisters nails and helping another lady with a pedicure even after the lady with the pedicure came in after me and said she doesn't have much time but Nancy insisted she stay and she would be taken care of. While she's juggling my sister and this other lady, her actual hand work was poor. Nancy also told the lady trying to get a pedicure that she would do her feet and the other lady would finish my sisters nails. That lady ended up walking out because of broken promises. But, my sisters nails look like she did them herself, literally my sister had to fix her nails because Nancy was rushing and more worried about getting people in the chairs rather than actually doing a good job on those who have been waiting for over 25 minutes. Especially sense it was only two people, be honest and say whats up. It was not worth the time and not worth the money spent. So at this point I feel as I was pushed backed twice, promises were broken, we didn't feel it was professional, the equipment/manicure kit was just 'cleaned' not new and since I had time to look around I noticed it wasn't as clean as other places I've been to. Needless to say my sister and I both do not recommend getting your nails done at L.A. Nails, and we will not be back.

I received a gift certificate last Christmas for here and I came in to use it and was denied. The worker claimed that they got new owners in July and were not suppose to accept the certificates and that she should destroy it. Does that mean everyone is just out of their money they spent including my $55 certificate. That's the only reason I went to get my nails done. I didn't have the money to spend on them. I am very disappointed and will not be returning. I will inform anyone looking for a recommendation on a nail salon to not come here as the service was poor as well.

Dirty and lazy. Funny because they asked me to post on social media and review them. Well, I'm glad I waited until I took my first set off from them. I usually take them off myself because I have no patience to wait for them to on top of getting my services done. So, the first time I went there the experience was awesome, my nails were done well enough I had no complaints. I'm very picky about my nails But, after I went for a fill, it took 3 and a half hours at least for a fill. They started when I walked in. Then, there was a guy doing my toes in shellac and a woman doing my nails the fill and shellac. I get black light nails specifically because I'm a dancer and I pay extra to get my toes done the same color because of my job as well. Well someone missed the top coat so my nails were white under black light and my toes were orange. Made me look tacky at my job based off tips. Then when I come back to get the same services and explain they were done wrong the woman tried to tell me I was wrong and I didn't know what I was talking about. So another man did my full and shellac and she did my toes. They were painted horrible and you could see so many flaws in the black lighy there was acrylic all under my real nails and the shellac was horribly painted on my nails especially. But back to the point, I just take my nails off to find an infection that looks like it's almost grown out. Disgusting. This is a result of lazy nail tech and dirty nail supplies.

I always get my nails done at L.A. nails by Faye. She is the best of amazing, gets me worked in her schedule every time I call n even if she couldnt I dont mind waiting for the visit cuz she's worth it.

Honestly the worst pedicure experience I’ve ever had. Didn’t really do anything except paint them, nothing that the basic pedicure even said they would do. And was still charged the full amount. Wouldn’t recommend!!!

The only place I will go to get my nails done!! Absolutely love them
