La Boucherie

We hadn't been since they moved off 1960, but we visited yesterday. It's now much larger than it used to be and everything was awesome, including prices and customer service! We tasted chicken wings, boudain, and red reaper sausage from the tester table. We bought a stuffed turducken, a package of chocolate chip cookies and some red reaper sausage SOOOOO delicious!. The meat case was full of delicious-looking meats too! This shop will now be my go-to place for specialty meats like tomahawk steak and standing lamb chops. Please go support this small business! You will not regret it!

Badass popper selection! Every Picanha I’ve bought here has turned out incredible! Just wish the cuts yall carried had the fat slab!

Fantastic food. Have cooked the dirty rice stuffed chicken and the bacon wrapped, Andouille, shrimp, and pepper jack stuffed pork loin. Both were amazing. Even my skeptical Cajun bride that scorns anything made west of the Sabine River approved. High praise indeed! Highly recommend their products. Well seasoned, and delicious!

This is a small yet full butcher shop. They have even more than what is in the glass. They have multiple times trimmed my meat for me and not charge me for what they trimmed. They know their meat and even have samples out. Would recommend for all your meat needs.

Clean and organized. A lot of their stuff is made on site. We tried all the sausage, except the reaper one even though they're adorable. The sausages are exceptional, I'll be getting more Italian next time is spaghetti night.

This place is legit! Quality, taste, and presentation, it’s all there. The Ribeye steak was delicious and the filet bombs are definitely a must try.

No doubt the BEST meat market around. The store is super clean, well organized and the selection is amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. We are at a point where they know us when we walk in! Donald is so nice, always has great suggestions and is helpful with how to cook various things. Matthew gave us some great suggestions the first time we went in and we've been hooked ever since! Buy local! Come support this amazing meat market!

I am beyond frustrated with these guys/gals. I placed an order online, got to the confirmation page, verified that my order was correct, then entered my payment information. I then received an email confirmation of my order, except the total amount was DOUBLED, and the amount of each item I ordered was DOUBLED. So I immediately called and left a voicemail it was after their regular business hours. This morning I get a call back and was told that the order was shipped and that there was nothing they would do about it. She then told me that it had to have been user error on my part, it certainly was not. She was snappy and seemingly annoyed that that I was questioning her. I’ve been pretty homesick, and was really excited about having a legit place to order from. I’m very disappointed in this whole process, most specifically the customer “service” I received. This is the first negative review I have ever left a business, ever.

Came for the boudin and it was some of the best I have ever had. Love Love Love
