Greenwood Village Taco Shops, take note… this is how a great taco is made. This is a great taco for people who know what a great taco should taste like. This is the best taco shop in Denver. No frills, just great food. I’ll be eating here as often as I can.
We were visiting Denver and came to this place with local friends. Nice little place with tasty tacos and yummy fajitas. Quesadilla is okaish. Everything is great except for the musty smell, so if owners can get rid of the smell I'm ready to visit this place multiple times!!Recommended dishesTaco
I’ve been coming here since I moved to Denver in 2019 after trying many other taquerias. Great quality, service, and their salsas are amazing con mucho sabor Mexicano. My family is originally from Mexico City, if you want real flavor from the barrio stop by, catch the game and feel like you’re at Abuelas house. Order “con todo” and try all the salsas. This Chicano highly recommends La Calle!
Good spot for authentic Mexican food. Got the quesabirria tacos with consume, tripa and barrbaco tacos. Little pricey but worth the tasteFood: 5/5
Super delicious tacos and menudo. Least favorite are al pastor, higado cow liver, chivo goat - we don't think it was chopped well. The only place that serves tepache agua fresca of all the Mexican places that I have been to in the US. Menudo is very well-seasoned and have a lot of organs. Don't really like the bread as it is soft.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Great tacos but the meat was on the drier side. Experienced the cabeza, lengua, carnitas, asada, and pastor. Also tasted my husband's chorizo and quesadilla. The salsa can get really, really spicy — so be careful! I actually asked for mild and got something super spicy my husband agrees and he has pretty high tolerance, and I only was able to mitigate but not eliminate the extreme pain by eating a bunch of cucumber slices and chugging down horchata. The horchata was pretty good and creamy. The pickled onions were a good addition to the cilantro on the tacos. Pretty budget-friendly too. The people working there started cleaning the place with pungent bleach towards the end of the day while we were still eating. So I would recommend getting there a bit earlier to avoid that experience.
Came based on the recommendation of a local. Best tacos we have ever had. Place is clean and the service was good.Food: 5/5
Extremely authentic Mexican food, I was impressed. The soups are too salty, and only meant for dipping. Ordered the birria goat quesadillas which were deliciously greasy, and a bunch of tacos cochinita pibil, carnitas, cheek, chorizo, pig skin, the only one I wouldn't order again we're the carnitas, too dryFood: 5/5
TACOS!! I know tacos... I eat them everywhere I go. And these are top notch. Very authentic with to many options to choose from. I got the regulars Asada and 2 others to try. Tacos are great quality great staff. If you like tacos this is the place to go.
They just do a great job... my family loves the quesabirria not on their online menu, strangely, and the skillets. I love the tacos, especially the chivo.
