Story

My name is Alexandra and I moved to this beautiful State a little over a year ago from New York City. I miss home and family ESPECIALLY all my favorite Argentinian Bakeries and restaurants which were so easily accessible in NY. So I decided hey instead of missing it let me bring a little taste of it here to YOU.
Although I have grown up in NYC I come from Argentinian parents who immigrated to the states back in 1967. My parents couldnt decide whether we were staying or going so we traveled to Argentina often (so many great memories) My parents like most immigrants felt it was important for us to never lose our customs and so glad that I can speak spanish and drink Mate (a argentinian tea that helps with digestion amongst other things) I love my heritage How could I not ? we are the country well known for STEAK! TANGO! FUTBOL!(soccer) Dulce de Leche ! and of course EMPANADAS!! Which i learned how to make at a very young age Thanks to my Mother .
I have made them throughout the years for friends and family. With much love. I enjoy making these yummy pastry pockets filled with Goodness ! Yes I sing while I cook and always add the LOVE.
