La Madeleine

Fantastic food in a low-.key setting. I would describe La Madeline as comfort food with a French twist. It is one of my favorite brunch spots. The soups are delicious, but the potato cream soup is my favorite. The savory crepe dish just disappears off the plate bc I can’t eat it slowly. This place is also kid approved as my 10 yr old picky eater loves everything on their menu. I just wish they’d pop the cold croissant in the toaster before serving.

This is an "old school" La Madeleine with cozy charm. Order at the counter. Breakfast all day and a lovely pastry case. The coffee is excellent. Serve yourself bread, butter and jam. Delicious tomato basil soup. I paired it with the 4 cheese grilled sandwich. I didn’t really like the sandwich but the soup is always delicious!

This location is usually excellent. Unfortunately got a very stale almond chocolate croissant today. It is not a cheap item, so why do you let them go stale and still sell them to customers?Food: 2/5

Croque Monsieur Classic French Han&cheese. Smoked gam&Swiss with garlic cream sauce baked on wheat berry creme brûlée cheesecake, chocolate almond croissants, and coconut creme cake. We love the Croque Monsieur, the cheese on top of the wheat berry bread made it so fun and tasty. And we absolutely love the creme brûlée cheesecake and coconut creme cake. They are just simply amazing. Chocolate almond croissant was meh. This is such an amazing restaurant with cozy decor, and they have locations in Houston as well! Update 8/9 - we are back at La Madeleine Post Oak and was blown away by the deliciousness of Pesto Pasta with balsamic-marinated chicken, the sauces is splendid! Key lime cheese cake is all right, I think key lime is better suited with tart instead of cheese cake. To our surprise, the coconut cream cake is a bit soggy compared to the one we had at Lafayette.

Really delicious French food. Whether you are craving a pastry or pasta, definitely recommended. With all day breakfast menu, variety of lunch items, fresh coffee, La Madeleine also serves wine and mimosas. They also have typical American breakfast options !

Beat Salad Sampler ever!! The Cesar Salad, the Tomato Basil soup is delightful and Chicken salad is simply amazing!! The wait for a cashier to take your order, feel very French slow !! Be patient and remember your in a restaurant that will not run out of food. It’s slow!!

worst location In houston. Consistenly food is like its been sitting out all day or made days ago, froze amd microwaved and there's always fruit flies in the jam dispensers. also they charge xtra for To go orders other locations do not but can't manage to include plasticware

Although the menu is limited to very few dishes, the service is still good, as the quality.

Nice place. Music is perfect and not too loud. Great staff. Ordered a glass of wine and there was a bit of lipstick on the glass. Asked for a new one, and it was no problem. Love the chicken pesto sandwich. Amazing red wine too.
