La Michoacana

I work as a bilingual school teacher. On my last day before going on 2-week holiday vacation. I stopped by ‘La Michoacána’ I was carrying a Santa’s bag because we had a secret Santa gift participation at the school and I was also carrying my black laptop bag. As soon as I walked in a lady that was at the kitchen said “hey míralo, míralo’ ... and then she pointed at me and told me to drop off my bags at the front door... I was very tired from work and I was like no... and I told her “ solo quería ordenar una torta” and I left .. she said... hay que dios lo bendiga.... ...por favor. Esa señora ni tenía mascarilla y así estaba cocinando, pues que bueno que mejor me fui de ese lugar. She was very rude and treated me like a street walker or a common criminal that was coming in to steal. Fist of all they make you pay for the food at the register before you even try to order anything... I had been there before. I also do not like the fact that the front of the store seems to be in the BACK of the street.. not the front of the street as it should be, anyway I was very disappointed by the treatment I received at this location, however I have been to other Michoacánas and it’s like a trend, poor customer service.

Yea they cashed a check for me once but now I'm at the door at 610am and it's locked, they open at 6am. If there's one thing I can't stand it's when a business says their open but they aren't. Stop stealing sales from other businesses that actually are open. Tricking paying customers to wait at a locked door when we could already have our products from another store.

I come to this one a lot but this time the cashier was rude. She should not work there If she rude to customers

Pricey by comparison, and no one that I spoke with was very welcoming.

Place looked clean , good customer service. Tacos I’d give 1 star meat was dry and no flavor fajita tacos corn tortillas not homemade. Paid $11 dollars 2 tacos quesadilla and drink .

Bar ba coa 12 a pound and u get this who knows what it is I never seen barbacoa like this what a waste of money

The food great, but it sooo expensive right now. One month ago , barbacoa 7.50$ pound. Now 11.50 to pound. That crazy

Good selection of items in the grocery. The service counter dishes out some awesome street tacos. Dressing bar is excellently stocked with a variety of items.

La Michoacan is one of the best meat store to get ur meat...friendly staff and it also smell good in there
