Located in Brooklyn. First time tasting Honduran cuisine. I must say very tasty Good portions. Very reasonable prices. It was crowed. Safety protocol was followed. Staff was friendly and professional. I enjoyed the decoration, also there is a stage.
I have no idea how this place has such a good rating. The food was over cooked and poorly seasoned. The staff also allowed someone in who was asking for money while I was trying to eat at my table. The only reason I won't give it one star is the prices are fairly low.
Gave it 3 stars to be nice, never seen the most greasy baleadas ever, it's suppose to be refried beans it's more like a puree
It was my first time trying Honduran food, and they definitely didn't disappoint. Can't remember what's the name but it was fried chicken on top of cabbage and green plantatains.
let me start off by saying I’ve been to Honduras over 15 times, & my husband is SOTBTHIS PLACE IS AN *AUTHENTIC HONDURAN Resturant, they take about 30 minuets for the easiest order. from their food to their vibe it’s authentic meaning, once they have a clientele, their service is GARBAGE they are so rude to “gringas” and don’t even acknowledge you when you walk in.. I honestly am so happy the other place down the block opened because they were much nicer, faster and food was GREAT food here is good, but their service is TRASH and not recommended unless you like to wait over an hour for a baleada
I just didn't like the restaurant. Is clean but missing some charm. I request from the menu a red beans soup and i was told didn't have it. So i got upset. The waiter when to the kitchen and came back and say to me the cook will make it for you. That i gave the cook 100 stars, it was so but so delicious. Highly recommend the restaurant because the cook when out of the way to pleased me. I NEVER had this type of service in a Honduras restaurant.
Authentic Honduran food, great value. The red snapper and the carne Asada are amazing. They have the best plantains I have ever had and huge portions.
Great baleadas! Great spot for Honduran food only thing i didn't like was the vibe music is mad loud o get there and they don't even ask me if I want to order or if I order by phone music is so loud they can't hear me plus I had my mask took them like 10 minutes to ask me what I wanted luckily I called ahead and I was seeing them making my food if not I would've been pretty mad other than that great food ! Everything is home made
Service is questionable. But when food is served its always well worth the wait. Baleadas for me is the best. Tacos are delicious. Pork chops a must try
Excellent Food, But Awful service. I ordered two baleadas they gave me 3 and none of them like I ordered. Then when I ask what happened the lady said, we don't have avocado, but the waiter did not said so. Then they did not have pastelitos, come on, it is the simplest thing to cook, how can you ran out of ingredients for pastelitos. Then I placed a second order I had to walk to the counter for a third time since there is not a trained waiter or waitress, 40 minutes later we got the food packed to go, when I did not ordered it so. Also it is CASH ONLY. The food is amazing, they actually use Honduran ingredients and everything tastes great. However, every time I take a guest I have to warn them about the terrible service which some think outweighs the food quality. Service need to be improved.
