La Petite Cave

The sweetest people run this shop, I came in looking for a red wine for mulling at a party and they guided me to some bottles that were perfect still tasted full after the light simmer, and also tasted fantastic alone. we polished off the bottles. Not only did they help steer me away from the more expensive ones I was about to land on, but they helped me get a better deal buying the larger size bottles instead of just taking advantage of my cluelessness . They have a solid selection of wines, wine bags, and a couple bottle openers but also twist-top bottles that don’t need an opener. They also have a few other non-wine drinks but much more limited selection a brandy and some others. I’ll be back here for all my wine needs, it was such a pleasant and wholesome experience.

Neat little wine shop. La Petite Cave is the ideal name. Friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me pick out a full-bodied flamboyant sweet red, which I enjoyed very much.

Larry the owner knows his stuff. He has great recommendations and is willing to see if he can get anything special that you're looking for wine or liquor. Go support FiDi's local wine shop and introduce yourself to Larry who is typically the guy behind the counter.

Staying at a nearby hotel while my daughter is recuperating from surgery. Very helpful and kind staff. Very welcoming after a long day at the hospital. Will definitely be back! PS wine they selected for me was fabulous!

You’d think you’re at a five star hotel wine cellar with the level of friendly and genuine service you get from the staff here… except with very reasonable prices. The visit in itself was a joy. This will be my go to spot for all bottle needs in NYC from hereon. Two thumbs up!

One of the best wine shops in new York. I have been visiting this place for the past year. I don't know anything about wines but the owners are very knowledgeable and always help pick out the correct one. Would definitely recommend them

Spectacular little shop, Larry is incredibly knowledgeable, and more than happy to point you in the right direction and give you a little lesson in vino while he's at it! The other staff are super friendly and helpful as well. Great little place, especially if you live or work in the area.

It's a small, but very curated selection. Every wine Larry sells, he has selected because he thinks it's special. It's a great selection, and there is a lot of affordable stuff here. You have every reason to make this your go-to wine store.
