I am OBSESSED with LaPizzeria's Authentic, New York style, thin crust Pizza!!!! An absolute Terrific, family owned business that offers dine-in, pickup, & DELIVERY!! You must try this place if you have not already!! **** HOURS have changed as of September 2020 - now open 7 DAYS a week, 12 pm - 8 pm ****

The yelp menu says $25 for stuffed pizza, but the owner charged me $35 and kept the coin change for himself. Then he made a fat joke about me eating the whole thing by myself. I’ve been living here my whole life and rarely go in there because: 1 the pizza is the worst on Shore Drive 2 the interior looks like he decorated with stuff he found on the side of the road 3 There’s one tiny TV 4 The owner is so cheap he won’t pay for credit card processing, he wants you to pay $4 to use his ATM instead. You will never see anyone hanging out there. I don’t know how they’ve stayed in business, but their hours keep getting shorter. It’s dead every time I go by or in.

This place is awesome great pizza, great owner, great staff. Went in here yesterday with the family. Pizza was worth every dollar, they also got draft beer so get yourself a pitcher, soft drinks also. Make sure to bring cash. Cash only and don't be cheap leave some cash in the tip jar. Sweet people definitely my new pizza spot.

We got pizza to go here and it was great. The garlic knots with cheese were also fantastic if you’re going to get pizza on this side of VA Beach, get it here. You’ll be happy that you did.

This is our favorite pizza in the area. We always order take-out. Delicious pizza, every time!

Picked up a couple of at home pizza kits. Product was awesome, staff was friendly and helpful. This is definitely a do again.

The pizza here is phenomenal. Exactly the same as at home in New York, the way it should be.

Best Mama and Pops Pizza shop that I experienced in almost 10 years

I'd had a slice about 3 years ago which was pretty decent. So I'd decided to go with a Special 18" pizza with 5 toppings: Pep, green peppers, mushrooms, black olives and spinach. Probably a bad decision. I'm not sure of the spinach was canned or frozen, it was really bad. Canned mushrooms are just as bad. The smell and the taste of the canned or frozen spinach overpowered the flavors of the pizza. I had a hard time eating this pizza. I had a friend eating a slice and said, 'It's better than frozen pizza!' I was like, 'eh, I've had some pretty decent frozen pizzas and came up short!' I gave this place a second try and I probably won't go back. I think fresh ingredients make a great pizza which this one wasn't. It was also burnt. I don't like to give bad reviews on places, but this is just what I'd experienced with the money I'd paid. There are a lot of pizza places out there for people to choose from and lesser and lesser ones I will go to. Sometimes, you've gotta go with what you know! I usually give places a try and if they fail, I just don't go back at all.
