Excellent place. Looks odd as supermarket and taqueria are next to each other, but this comes with a convenience...you can get additional products you want on your tacos or dishes and add them right there. Saw a gent add a full fresh avocado to his 3 tacos, nice trick! Tacos are excellent portion size and service is quick and friendly. Good prices too. Place is clean and inviting, on the informal side but plenty of tables and good chats with other customers. Ample plaza parking and quick service. At peak hour noon on weekdays service can get slower but it is still pretty quick. I'll be there often. Make sure they read your order back to you, as I got tripes and carne asada when I ordered barbacoa, but my replacement tacos were still very good. I've been there a few times now.
decided to try the lengua, came home with food poisoning and constantly vomiting all night. the chorizo wasn’t good & pretty much tasted burnt. do not recommend
Mucho Beuno. This little hole in the wall restaurant was quite the tasty discovery. It's a place to order food. No atmosphere. No Alcoholic beverages, just good authentic Mexican. I ordered the taco Barbacoa. Super filling. Washed it down with a delicious Orchata. It's located in the grocery store, so the ingredients have to be fresh. No hablo english, be prepared to be patient when communicating. A must try.
3 stars mainly because people weren't very friendly. I realize I'm a white girl in a Mercado but I'm not green with purple spikes. I'm not a freak show, I'm just a white girl who likes to cook Mexican food and knows a decent place when I find it. This is a decent place. I wouldn't say it's the best place but it's a good little shop. I just wish I wasn't stared at and treated like I was some alien.
Ok, so this place felt like I walked through the door which is also a portal to Mexico. I was clearly a foreigner in this place. I’m a white guy from Louisville that took French in high school and college. Hehe.. Anyway, contrary to other reviews, the people were very kind. After all, I don’t speak Spanish. My goal was to exit with two pork tacos and a coke. The kind señoritas ? behind the counter quickly determined what my goal was and they were eager to help make sure I got what I was after. Very sweet…. Ok, so I got two tacos, pastor roast pork, with flour tortillas. Omgosh! Amazing! So, so, so good! I frequent alot of taco places and mexican places. These are easily among the best there are. Generous amount of meat, lots of cilantro and onions. And clearly the tomatillo sauce and mole are fresh and as good as they come. The meat was moist, and it still had the reduction juices from being roasted in enough presence to maintain flavor. The mole is no joke. Spicy. Go easy and use the tomatillo to keep it under control. If you want a quick bite to eat and are in the area, just go ahead and stop here. You won’t be disappointed.
The best in lynnview! My favorite go to for a monster 10$ burrito. 10+ visits and never had a problem.
Ordered three tacos with no onions and they gave it to me with onions, when I sent them back lady threw them away in the garbage and ordered me two without onions. At the end she charged me for all 5 tacos. Do not recommend this place as customer service is terrible. If I knew she was going to charge for them anyway I would have taken them home a gave it to someone and not throw away food that wasn't even touched.
yup i walk past it alot,i dont go inside much cuz i dont speak spanish.
Great on authentic Mexican street style food. When busy can take a while for get food. Do not stop if you are pressed for time. Everyone is very nice
A co-worker promised me best tacos in the city, not so good, chorizo was overcooked almost burnt. The carne asada and pork tasted identical. Good portion of meat but nothing else in the taco but the meat.
