La Tapenade Mediterranean Café (in Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport)

Food wasn't bad but price was nonsensical. (We're talking a factor of 2x.) Ordered without paying enough attention.

The salad was good but obviously marked at airport prices. However, the service was terrible. The two employees just kept talking to each other and not helping customers. There were 4 people who just wanted to check out and 2 others just walked away after waiting 5 minutes to pay. There are too many other options at the airport. The food wasn't good enough to justify waiting while the employees spoke to each and prepped the food.

Poor selection of breakfast items at 8am Sunday. Unfriendly service and when they forgot to give me my coffee, they questioned me rudely. Bacon sausage panzotta was flavorful but too much pastry.

I get that airport food is expensive but this place is worse than most. For $10.80 I got a caprese sandwich and it had 2 small pieces of mozzarella in it. About half the sandwich was bread and lettuce. The sauce was basically non existent. The service was horrible. Highly disappointed.
