Got a shellac manicure here….would not recommend this spot for nails extremely limited colors and I’m not impressed with the paint job paid for shellac with nail art….the lady never mentioned the nail art and I felt too awkward to bring it up, but she made sure to mention that I can leave her a cash tip…… UPDATING REVIEW well I got my nails shellac manicured yesterday and they’re peeling off today….don’t both wasting your time or money here Meh ::

I had a really terrible experience at your Chelsea location last week. I've been lightening my hair for about 18 months and always let my stylists know that I want to be really conservative with the bleaching process because my hair damages easily. My stylist left the bleach in my hair for about 15 minutes longer than we discussed- she came to check on my hair after it had processed for about 20 minutes under heat, told me it needed maybe 5 more minutes, then asked me to wait while she colored another woman's entire head! At one point I asked her if we should start washing out the bleach and she told me to wait until she finished the other woman and that my hair would be fine. My hair has never been as damaged as it is now, and has been breaking off all week. I used to really love this salon, but will not be coming back

So happy I stumbled in! I came in for a wash and blow dry walk in. They were able to take me right away. I asked specifically for extra attention during the hair wash, which most places skimp on. I have thick coarse wavy hair that needs a little extra love. The lady that washed it not only scrubbed away but also was giving little scalp massages! Then the lady blow drying my hair got it to look shiny, silky, weightless, and smooth. She recommended I get a trim soon, which I will : She was very polite and fast!! The price was amazing, the service was great, and my hair looks beautiful! Definitely coming back again and again!

I had an appointment but the salon apparently double scheduled this slot. When I walked in, there was only one female hair dresser. She was very rude to me even when I offer to wait until after she finishes with the other customer which is their mistake to begin with. She was very short, ignored me the whole time, never apologized. Be careful with this shop - even with an appointment, they rudely kick people out just because of they want to get off work early Notes to the business comments below - I arrived 5 mins early and I was very polite. The response from the business can show you what kind of people they are. Don’t go.

I loved the attention, super personalized. Pete is an excellent host and above all an excellent stylist. I love how he leave my hair. It is my first time doing a treatment to leave it completely smooth and it made me feel super comfortable and safe. And best of all, he cares about your process after the treatments you've had. thank you so much. The best
