Lady Fitness - Pleasant View

I love the variety of classes offered. You can find classes that work with your schedule. The kickboxing classes with Karianne are awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. I really like this gym. Although its smaller than other gyms, crowding hasn't been a problem.

I had a membership here for two years and loved the staff. They were always nice to talk to and answered any questions I had. The equipment was always well maintained and clean. Classes are great with energetic instructors! My favorite was Pump and Crosscamp. They also offer group personal training which I never did but always looked like something I'd be interested in. Very basic gym which is great if that's what you're looking for. Just weights, machines, classes and limited daycare. Price is about the same as Vasa but doesn't come with all the amenities. The problem here is this gym is basically for stay at home moms or women with no kids. The hours suck. Closed by 7 or 8pm on weekdays, by 2 pm Saturdays and closed Sundays. The daycare hours are even worse. Just open a couple hours in the morning and from 4-8 at night. I am a mom who works 40+ hours a week with no set schedule so it was hard to get to the gym when the daycare was actually open. Also, towards the end of membership they made a lot of changes to the gym. Brought in more equipment making it crowded and hard to move around all the machines without disrupting someone else's workout. As I mentioned before is it's a very basic gym which also really sucks. No pool. No track. No basketball court. No sauna. No massage chairs. They did get a stand up tanning bed when they brought in the extra equipment but I never actually used it. I know that it isn't included with your membership though. So overall it isn't a terrible gym but also could use many improvements.

This is on a busy road and easily seen from the road. On my first visit I asked to be shown the equipment and a nice gal gave me a thorough tour and I tried out the equipment I was interested in. She gave me sound advise for my workout routine- she was very knowledgeable. My biggest issue is that the plugs for the ear phones seem worn out and I have to keep adjusting the plug or they just won't work & I have to move to another machine. I find this to be an issue with most fitness centers I visit.

I would not recommend this gym. Since they got new equipment all machines and weight are very crowded. Safety hazard right here. Power weight racks very close to each other can't go between to change weights only if you are skinny.... Other thing is the Water fountains always dirty.

Lady Fitness is by far my favorite gym. I love the environment. The fact that it is all ladies makes it so much easier and more comfortable to get your workout done without having guys around or coming up trying to talk to you. They also have THE most amazing classes!!!
