Ladybug Preschool

The teachers and staff at Ladybug are truly outstanding! Their passion for early childhood education shines through in their creative and engaging lesson plans. Our son has been here throughout his daycare years, then for a 2’s program and then 3’s. He has flourished under their guidance, developing not only academically but also socially and emotionally. The small class sizes ensure each child receives individualized attention, fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment. One of the standout features of Ladybug is their emphasis on play-based learning. The classrooms are thoughtfully designed with a variety of hands-on activities that spark curiosity and encourage exploration. Our child comes home excited to share what they learned each day, whether it’s a new song, a fascinating science experiment, or a beautiful art project. Communication with parents is also excellent. We receive regular updates and photos, which allow us to stay connected with our child's progress and daily experiences. The school also organizes wonderful events and activities that bring families together, creating a strong sense of community. We are sad to be leaving and wish they had a Pre-K program. We wholeheartedly recommend Ladybug to any parent seeking a top-notch daycare or preschool experience for their little one!

Our toddler joined ladybug at their Union St location, and we can't say enough good things about their wonderful care!! The team has been absolutely amazing with our 2.5yo son, especially provided that we moved mid-year from Canada and that he did not speak much English when we arrived. Teacher Erica and teacher Ana worked wonders with him, and his inclusion in the group with the other children was seamless. Out of the several daycares we visited, this place showed the greatest emphasis for children development, both physically and emotionally, and for building a community. They really put the "care" in daycare!

I am incredibly impressed with Ladybug and can not recommend it enough! They have great programing and beautiful locations but the most important part is that I know my daughter is deeply loved by every staff member. I feel incredible knowing that every day my daughter is spending her time with people who love her as much as we do and she is learning and growing and celebrated for her unique self. There is no better daycare/preschool in the area.

I could not recommend Ladybug more highly. Our little one has been with Ladybug since she was 4 months old. The daycare, and now, the preschool program is fantastic. Our daughter is always happy at drop off and smiling and giggling at pick up. All the caregivers are attentive, nurturing, and loving. The program facilitates a mix of open-ended play and child-centered learning. I am so thankful we found Ladybug and will always consider them part of our extended family. Shout out to the Nelson Street location and 4th Place caregivers and teachers!! Maya, George, and Erica, you have done a wonderful job cultivating such a warm community!

I can't say enough great things about Ladybug's programming. We started our 2-year-old in their 2s program after having worked with a nanny from the time he was 5 months old. This was our son's first experience in a group childcare setting. The Ladybug team made the transition something me and my husband were quite nervous about! seamless. The staff and administrators are communicative, creative and absolutely lovely. Our son loves going to school each day, and he comes home with new experiences and vocabulary to share. Ladybug is the perfect mix of age-appropriate curriculum, fun & a nurturing environment; it's been the ideal setting as we navigate toddlerhood and all of the big feelings that come with it. It was important to our family to find a place for our son to develop both socially and academically. Our son will continue with one of Ladybug's preschool programs when he turns 3 next year. We're very lucky to be a part of this school community.

The best. We've been with ladybug for over 5 years and two kids and they're just the best. Caring, educational, loving, and really dedicated to the kids. We're sad to move on, but we wouldn't be here without them!

We have been with Ladybug for daycare, 2s, and now 3s and are very pleased with the programming. I love that every location has a private outdoor space and the kiddos are engaged in various “specials” throughout the week including Spanish, music, yoga, and karate. My kiddo is so happy to go to school and has been supported socially, emotionally, and academically.

We have absolutely love this daycare. The caregivers are incredibly warm, nurturing, and wonderfully willing to work with parents and kids through challenges. And they, along with the management, are consistently responsive, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. We heard rave reviews of Ladybug from friends, and our experience has surpassed even the high expectations we had. This place is a gem.

Amazing, wonderful, incredible, best preschool we could have possibly hoped for. Kids thrive and learn, teachers and owners are simply wonderful, specialists coming every day Spanish, karate, music, yoga are great - we are just incredibly lucky to find this place for our son.
