Lafayette Christian School

Working at Lafayette Christian School has been a true joy. I love my job. Both of my daughters have also been educated at LCS, and my husband and I have been so pleased with the rigorous coursework and the caring teachers. We wanted our children to receive a Biblical perspective in all of their classes, and we have seen both of them develop a strong Biblical worldview.

This past Friday my son's football team played this school. It's sad to know that this is a Christian School and after the lost the coaches for Lafayette Christian School told the the coaches from Hearts Academy to get their boys off the field, and refused to share video with them from the game. As well as made the kids change their clothes in the parking lot. This is so unsportsmanlike in my opinion and it is definitely not Christian like. I pray for these Coaches and the players who play under them. Sad is all I can say.

Lafayette Christian School and Discovery Cottage is an answer to prayer! I have seen my girls accomplish so much. I have one on the main campus and one in the Discovery Cottage and they are being met right where they are physically and spiritually. The Discovery Cottage is teaching our daughter life skills and is helping her to excel at her level. She has grown so much and has come out of her shell and is doing things she has never done before. The teachers and staff at LCS and Discovery Cottage love our kids unconditionally and pushes them to be the best that they can be.

Wonderful. Apologetic defense of our faith is taught is every class. I have three children at LCS and am about to add a fourth. He's a new Christian and we want him to experience the amazing Praise and Worship in the morning as school starts!! This school pledges allegiance to the BIBLE, the CHRISTIAN FLAG and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

LCS has been a wonderful place for our kids to learn academically and grow spiritually. The staff has created a safe and loving environment that encourages our kids to push harder and think deeper. Our kids are not only known by their teachers, they are loved, challenged and guided by them also. LCS is just a great place for kids to grow!
