I’ve been taking my puppy here since I got him in 2020. This little fluff ball has had more than his fair share of issues WAY more and Dr. Carter always squeezes him in, even if it’s last minute and we didn’t have an appointment. She has let me email her and even send videos of symptoms. I trust her and appreciate the support staff, too. Every vet office is slammed since COVID and many in the area aren’t taking new patients. Glad I found this place!
Michelle is an extremely patient and attentive vet. Her staff are very knowledgeable and also attentive and patient. They have reasonable prices, go over the processes for treatments and fees so that you clearly understand the care for your pets. I highly recommend this practice!
Our family has been taking our pets to Dr. Carter for four years and we couldn't be happier with the care. Fantastic service, open and informative communication about my dog and cats condition, her diagnosis and prognosis and professional approach for future treatment. Dr Carter is very knowledgeable and offers detail explanations and practical advice. Love every conversation with her and her staff. Dr. Carter experience shows and instills confidence! Front desk is always very helpful and goes above and beyond to help with any questions we may have.
I can not thank Dr. Carter enough she was able to take my injured dog who developed a limp out of nowhere. Without being able to make an appointment I thought I was out of luck. But Dr. Carter and her amazing staff were able to fit me in between appointment. The good doctor diagnosed my Gwen almost immediately and had us out within 20 mins! Thabk you so much, I will be bringing my pets here moving forward without a doubt!
Abby loves Dr. Carter, and so do we. She's a good doctor and a lovely human.
edit: upped my rating from 4 to 5 stars. my dog was licking at his paw and it was all red and raw looking so i called and was told their next appointment wouldn't be for another month, but because it might be more urgent they would find a place to fit me in their schedule in between other people's appointments. the wait only turned out to be ~40 minutes, i was just so relieved they did what they could to help us when they are undoubtedly very busy. for comparison, my previous vet would turn me away in a situation like this so i am very grateful to Dr. Carter. great first experience. the only negative is i wish they would have told me the nail clip was gonna cost $20 before they did it especially because they barely cut anything off...but otherwise the whole experience was pretty good. i really love the doctor! she was personable and made me feel less self conscious about my dog having separation anxiety.
La Fond went above & beyond to help us with the puppy we found. And when the owner showed up they were integral in helping us return her. They're service was amazing.
I love this place. This is the only veterinary hospital that my dog actually likes. He's a nutty Australian Shepherd and I can only take him to places that are comfy for him. Otherwise..watch out....very happy to meet Dr. Carter and staff. They are amazing and smart and super nice. Vets that really like your pets!! I drive from Rochester to get here but it's totally worth the drive for the service and quality. I hope more people check her place out!
Since moving to Green Acres in September 2019, Dr. Carter has been my vet. She is very kind, honest, knowledgeable, and professional. Her rates are very reasonable based on the needs I've had to go for. I've gone for basic things like shots, as well as some weird things like a skin issue that needed antibiotics. There are a few times she's even been able to squeeze me in for a weird situation that was urgent but not needing emergency vet. I am very grateful to Dr. Carter and the staff at this vet clinic and always refer people to them since I've had such a positive experience.
What a great place. I called last minute to see if I could bring my sweet Goose in for someone to look at his eye which was getting worse by the day. They offered to have me stop in same day for an exam! I ending up being able to make it in the following morning and the doctor and staff were just lovely. The nicest people ever. They really take their time & explain everything they're doing & why. They break down everything you pay for, no funny business. They are obviously there because they care & provide excellent service. Doctor examined & treated Goose and sent me home with drops to administer the rest of the week. He's feeling much better! The cherry on top: They gave me a follow-up call a few days later to make sure everything was going ok. So glad we live close by!
