Clean, beautiful, well maintained, friendly staff. We ate at the cafe at the n entrance. Their sandwiches are huge and delicious! Quite buggy though so I highly recommend bug spray. The water was quite chilly but the kiddos didnt seem to mind. We were lucky to go on a warm day.

Lake Itasca is a wonderful place to camp and enjoy nature and is definitely recommended. If you are camping make sure to put coolers and food in a car or tent because raccons do show up, although they are harmless most of the time, feeding could make a group of them

Nice playground setting for the kids and great swimming Beach area as well. Bathroom s and changing rooms available.

A great little picnic shelter that sits right next to the water. There's also a small beach and playground nearby.
