I am so impressed with the customer service, quality, and craftsmanship with LKN Dock. From the first day of the project, the team came every business day until the project was complete, even in the freezing rain. I just did another walk through today, 2 weeks after completion, and I am so happy I chose this company. The material, labor, and electrical is top notch! Thank you Dean owner for a great fixed dock/roof. I enjoyed working with you!

I recently had one of the best experiences with a contractor ever since arriving here 5 years ago. Recently, I noticed an issue with my boat lift which basically prevented me from lowering my boat into the water. I contacted LKN Custom Docks and Pile Driving in Denver and was introduced to the owner, Dean Fisher. After conveying what I was experiencing, he agreed to meet me the following day at my home. It didn’t take him long to determine what the problem was. He concluded that one of two lift motors had, in essence, crapped out. He gave me a ballpark figure on what it would cost to install a new motor as well as labor. I believed his cost to be a fair price so I asked him to orde the motor. Throughout my interaction with Mr. Fisher that day, I found him to be quite knowledgeable and I was impressed by the way in which he talked to me about my lift issue in easy-to-understand terms. Anyway, the motor came in and was installed within the week. The total cost was actually lower than originally quote as well! I highly recommend this company and certainly will use them again for any future dock or lift-related needs...

It's been over a year since Dean owner started my project and they still have not completed the work. I have had countless number of emails and phone calls requesting completion, which includes materials and labor. I spent $25K on my deck and I have 6-8 aluminum posts that have 3-4 visible holes that were drilled in the wrong spots and are aesthetically displeasing. In addition, the aluminum spindles that were used rattle each step you take on the deck which has been happening for well over a year and many requests to fix. The workmanship is below acceptable. I am currently in the process of hiring a lawyer to deal with this company and to get final resolution. Stay Away!!! Btw-all reviews, other than mine are employees of the company.

Dean and his team did what he promised and he met agreed upon timeline. we did have a lengthy wait from contracting to build, but not more than indicated at time of contracting His leads and team members are more than competent, hard workers, and committed to doing a great job. I would hire again if I needed dock assistance.

Dean and his crew did a Fantastic Job on our new Dock. Dean was very intentive to our needs and built one of the nicest docks I’ve seen. We were very picky through the process and they had no problems making small adjustments as they were handling the build out. I’ve already needed them to come out and make some minor repairs and they jumped all over it.

I have been working with this company for two years now. I have had dependable and competent service at both of my vacation homes on Lake Norman.

Do NOT do business with this company. Work contracted for was never completed. Fictitious charges added to a series of escalating "invoices" that increased prices when no work was changed. Price for permits was grossly inflated from actual cost. Company refused to call for final inspection until I filed to revoke the building permit. Made a series of false representations and statements and ridiculous excuses and cited undisclosed and unwritten "policies" for refusal to complete work. Has numerous other unhappy customers. Enters into contracts for more than $30,000 without having a general contractor's license in violation of NC law. Do not trust what is written in the proposal, as entries are incorrect, ambiguous, and will not be honored. Horrible experience with this company. Do not EVER do business with this company. Other than the one-star review by another customer, the other reviews were written by the owner of the company and people who work for or are related to the company. The only two customer reviews are one-star with extensive explanations provided about the problems with this company.

Such a great experience! Dean was very easy to work with. The quality is great! He was very easy going, even when we asked a lot of questions and made a few last minute changes!

We were treated with complete respect and all our questions answered to satisfaction. Quality of work seems to be superb and all was done in acceptable time span. We will be referring all our friends and neighbors to this company.
