Story

Lake Oswego Ice Creamery & Restaurant opened its doors in 1985. We are located in a charming 90-year historic building that formerly housed "The Oswego State Bank" and later became the home of "KFC".

Since opening, the Lake Oswego Ice Creamery & Restaurant has been serving great food and locally made ice cream, as well as creating jobs for the community. We pride ourselves in the quality of people that we hire to serve you.

We proudly serve only the freshest ingredients and local produce as evidenced by our fresh burger patties and locally made soups. Our burger patties are made from 100% ground chuck and never frozen. Only local produce is used in creating our soups, which are made daily. Additionally, we rotate our ice cream flavors to add the newest seasonal offerings.

Our goal is to ensure each customer has prompt, courteous service with a smile, delicious home cooked meals that are made to order, and to create an experience that customers want to share time and again with family and friends. Many of our long standing customers have been coming here since they were children and now bring their children and grandchildren. Our wish is for new and existing customers to pass the experience on to their future generation.
