It's really a little scary driving across this bridge. At the same time you kind of forget you're not driving across land. It gets really interesting when you can't see any land in either direction. I felt like an old sea explorer when I started seeing sea gulls. Birds are signs of land up ahead. Then the land comes into view on the distant horizon. Kind of a kick!
