Absolutely beautiful oasis of nature. So many paved walking paths you, your family, and pets will have a delightful walk or run without getting mucky even when it has rained a lot. There is also a playground, several swing sets, an outdoor amphitheater, some military bunkers can't actually go in, a tranquil Veterans Memorial, a horseshoe area bring your own set, a plethera of beautiful piers, several fun bridges to walk across, and a pavilon that can be reserved through Maumelle City. There are definitely some parts that look like they could use maintenance, but overall, a wonderful place to visit. There is only one bathroom that I could find, which was located right by the playground and was open when I visited. The water was shut off for winter, but I am assuming it will be on in spring and beyond. From a photography standpoint, this park is amazing. So, many great places to take pictures of both group or individual, and nature is abundant for those photos as well.
Beautiful park! Plenty of area for any kind of function. I especially loved it for Care & Recovery in the park! The amphitheater was great as well as the picnic area. I can’t wait to attend another event there. The grounds are well maintained and showed the beauty of Gods creation with some help from man.

Good place to walk, kayak, fish. You can bring kids n pets and have good time here. Nicely laid out road and pretty neat surroundings and can watch different waterfowl. Overall love this place. I fish here often, paradise for BASS if u can find them.
This is one of my favorite places to come and walk,relax and bring our grandbabies to the park as well. Families not only bring their kids but also theri furry babies!! Any time of the year is a great place for the family
Open walkways around the lake make for a nice walk for my dog. Active area so bring your waste bags and leash your dogs.
This is a wonderful, family-friendly park, just watch out for the goose poop: The playground equipment is well-kept, and the kids get a kick out of walking on the "rope" bridge. Be sure to check out the veteran's memorial and the WWII bunkers while you're there.
It was nice, beautiful, amazing ...chilly but entertaining. The family has a picnic. Plenty of parking, clean, spacious, enough room for the entire family to dance ...eat..
It's a beautiful place to take walks with your family, pets, or solo. Fishing is permitted just don't feed the wildlife. Beautiful scenery and lots of parking.
