Lamey-Wellehan Shoes - Auburn

Shoes here aren't cheap. I always support local business when I can and it comes at a cost. I realize. I also expect the experience to be outstanding. Usually personable. The last two experiences have been anything but. The more recent one stands out. When the product picture changes after the product is shipped is unacceptable. I received a shoe I would have never purchased. I would expect to have been notified. Obviously they realized that the shoe on the website was different than the one they sent me, yet made it seem like they only noticed after the shoe shipped.

I came here to see if this store carried a style of Birkenstocks I wear and after a cpl Mons of looking an employee that was busy with someone else ran out back to tell another employee to come out and "keep an eye on someone". I clearly heard the conversation and seeing I was the only other "one" in the store and the employee stood RIGHT behind me it was obvious she was speaking of me. No I will not be returning to this store and profiling customers cost you a nice chunk of change i just spent elsewhere on a store with kind people.

Top notch service. Amazing quality and comfort heavy duty footwear. Michelle was a great salesperson. She helped as soon as I walked in the door. Got me what I needed and not what I thought I wanted. You will be happy if you go there. Pricey , but worth every penny.
