Just wanted to commend the maintenance man, James for a job well done. I had issues with my heat and he showed up promptly and fixed the issues. He proceeded to fix another issue that I had, and he needed to go to Home Depot a couple of times for this problem. Very prompt, friendly and courteous. He is definitely an asset to your corporation. Thanks again, James!
This is a wonderful community in which to live. The Leasing and maintenance staffs are very attentive and always very helpful. The grounds are very well maintained. There are 2 dog parks on campus and the dogs love it as do their owners and the sense of community created. Residents are very nice by and large, and there is a terrific group of kids as well. Any problems I have encountered have been dealt with professionally and compassionately. It’s a wonderful spot regardless of age!!
Went on a tour the whole apartment smelled of weed definitely not appropriate for the prices they are charging
Be careful if you have pets. The pet fees are excessive and they will charge you for damages anyway. The move out costs are insane as well. $75 for a "dirty oven". The location is nice. The amenities are nice. The cost is crazy.
I have lived here at the Landings Apartment Community for over two years now and it has been amazing. The 2-BR apartment does run a little small, but it is efficient. Each unit has its own washer/dryer, which most communities does not include. The management team is very friendly and professional. The maintenance team also works very efficient when work-orders are requested. Our dishwasher stopped working randomly one day and I requested the maintenance team to come by and look at it and they were here the next day, with the problem fixed. Lastly, the property is well maintained thru the New England season, with grass being cut frequently in the summer and snow being plowed during the winter. I would highly recommend living here, either short or long term.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. First off, our experience living there for 2 years was horrendous. We payed $100 a month to have pets yet when things needed to be fixed like our gate for the safety of our pets they failed so comply. I called 10 times between September 27th and January 15th. I have every call documented. It was a safety hazard because the dogs kept getting out. This was a bigger problem because god forbid we did not take care of something small such as removing our windows A/C by October 1st you could expect a note on your door early that morning. I could go on and on about our living experience, feel free to email me if you would like to know more. Now let’s talk about the moving out procedure. The things we were charged for are RIDICULOUS. $15.00 for a dirty tub spout and another $25.00 for a dirty bathtub? Talk about a money grab. They also charged us $10.00 for a dirty medicine cabinet, yet a few days after we moved out they demolished it to install an upgraded one? I have pictures for proof I’m happy to share if needed. The Landings is a money hungry corporation and I will be seeing these issues through.
I love my experience here so far. I am within 1 mile of the Navy base and central to downtown Newport and Middletown. I have my own personal washer and dryer in the apartment. Can't ask for anything more.
This place is fine if you're looking for short, one year living space. I would not recommend this place any longer than that. They are tiny apartments 2 bedroom but come with all utilities included and also no weight restrictions on dogs. They are run-down, worn apartments that could use some decent updates. Maintenance team is sub-par. I notified them that my refrigerator was leaking and upon checking out out, the maintenance person says "it's still keeping food cold so don't worry about it." They do not always clean up/ change the trashes in the dog park areas. The grounds are mostly well maintain, but some playground areas are not kept up. Office staff are fine to deal with. It really is best as a short term rental/military housing choice.
I have lived at Landings for close to a year and truly have enjoyed my time there. First off, the management at the property is extremely friendly and helpful: if I ever have a problem, it takes one phone call and the problem is fixed within days. Secondly, the property is well-maintained lawns are cut regularly, snow is removed quickly, playgrounds are updated, etc.. Lastly, the apartments themselves are spacious, private, and have nice finishes I was lucky enough to find one of the renovated apartments. All in all, I would highly recommend living here.
