Landis Cyclery
"Since 1956, Landis Cyclery Phoenix has been right here on Indian School Road and 7th Avenue. Grandparents and parents in the valley have fond memories of picking up their first bike at this location. They often share stories of how they were so excited and how they loved that first bike. Such memories are priceless. We continue to offer that first experience and are excited to offer many choices for the returning customer as well as extending a warm greeting to those who are new to our city or new to the world of cycling. We look forward to seeing you here."

They’ve been around for over 100 years so that should tell you something. If you’re looking for expert bike advice, a new bike, tune up or any accessories you better check here first. My wife got her first brand new bike here. Gage was happy to help answer all questions and provide his input. The bike has a warranty from manufacturer and we got a free kickstand and water bottle holder.
Five stars is not enough! I came in after having assembled my new bike on my own, and wanted them to “cleanup” my work since I’m far from a pro. I expected to have to make an appointment or drop it off, but Rob took a look and knocked it out on the spot. I was asking for a phone holder recommendation and one of the other employees wrote down his favorite for me. Just a bunch of nice guys willing to help and provide knowledge. I felt so happy to have come here and literally happy danced as I walked out. I’m training for a triathlon and Landis Cyclery definitely set me up for success. Thank you all!!!
Had not been to a bike shop in quite a long time and this was my first time at Landis Cyclery since moving to Arizona so I wasn't sure what to expect. The service is phenomenal! I thought I needed a tune-up but they confirmed that I'd had a tune-up before putting my bike in storage. They still did a little fine tuning and inflated the tires. Definitely going back for any other bike services I need in the future...AND they have every bike gadget and a nice selection of apparel that you might want! Oh, and they have a great inventory of new bikes, too. Thanks for the awesome experience, guys!
I do not typically go out of my way to write Google reviews. I am doing so this time around for this business because they warrant a 1 star service. I brought my bicycle into Landis Cyclery last week for a flat tube on my back tire needing to be fixed. Everything was fine and paid riding out of the shop. The very next morning not only did the back tire go flat again but they managed to mess up the front as well which was perfectly fine. So I got 2 flat tires for the price of one and a bicycle that can’t operate! I called and explained to see what can be done about the matter and the gentlemen on the phone quickly exclaimed “bring it in, we charge $10 for labor and another $8 for the tubes.” I asked wait you guys won’t be fixing it on your dime since what I paid for clearly didn’t work just like any good establishment would do? I have the receipt and everything. The guy stood firm on their being no warranty. Is this how a good business who looks out for customers operates? Charging them again instead of apologizing and taking care of the matter. Landis leadership certainly doesn’t think so. Don’t bother coming here! Please take all of your business to Grey Matter bicycle shop which is family owned and they donate proceeds to non profit research as well. That is how a true good business operates. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
Small parking lot, takes cash and card. I've now visited Landis 3 times and I have nothing but good things to say. Within seconds of walking in you will have someone greeting you, asking how you're doing and if you might need some assistance. This last go around I needed my brakes replaced; I came in thinking I'd need to buy the brakes and take care of it myself they're booked up like everyone else for service!, but the employee recognized they were slow and said they'd take of it on the spot for me. I requested that I came back to watch and learn and he had no issues, even explaining what he was doing as he went along. Overall, I'm not surprised these folks have been here for decades, as the service speaks to their mentality for service and collaboration. Not only all that, but the selection is DOPE! But just know these are high class bikes they're selling, and they offer no fixed gear options at the moment. If you own a bike, come here. If you need a bike, definitely check it out! Landis is great.
I have grown up coming to this shop and I have never had a bad experience. I have bought many bikes from Landis and I continue to have them do all of my maintenance. The team here is always willing to help and are very knowledgeable. They are just a GREAT TEAM!
Great experience. The sales person and service people ensured I got the right bike, that I understand all the adjustments, and that the bike set up was perfect. Rode bike first day 10 miles, all higher grades and rocks, it was awesome
2nd Time into this shop. Their knowledge about bikes is comparable to mine which is none! How do people like this stay in business? If you own a bike shop it should be your passion not just a job! Won't go back!
I've been looking for a Sirrus x3.0 for a while and last week Landis found, built and delivered one in 2 days! I've put 70 miles on it in the last 5 days on my daily rides around Phoenix and everything is working just fine.
Guys are great, been going to Landis for over ten years. Went in last Friday late in the day and the guys quickly fixed my bike up for my weekend trip in Sedona. Can’t thank them enough! Excellent customer service!
