My wife and l were given the impression that if we raised occupancy that we would get a relief manager so that we would have time off together. We raised the occupancy from 68% to 98% in our first year at a property in Orlando, FL. Although we came thru a particular owner did not. We traveled from a Colorado property owned by Landvest that we managed to a Florida property that the company was having problems with on our dime with no help from the company. We were never offered or given any assistance for the move even though the company certainly benefited from our willingness to relocate in their behalf. Draw your own conclusion.
I appreciate so much about working for Landvest Corporation. The way they run their business is something I am proud to represent. My confidence in the company increased when I did some local marketing with other companies and I felt sorry for their employees. My fellow co-workers are always so helpful with their knowledge and experience and I can't imagine having any other Regional Manager. Angie Jeffrey surely changed my life when she hired me. I enjoy the diversity of responsibilities and am very grateful to work for Landvest.
I enjoy working with Brian and jordan these 2 are a blast to have around, not to forget to mention the rest of the employees they have all been great and wonderfully people to work with
While I worked for the company for only 8 months, I learned so much in that time I was with them about 3rd party Management for self storage and how different it is. Brian was a great teacher. If you are looking for advice on how to manage 3rd party self storage, you should reach out to him and check out his videos on LinkedIn Thank you for the great experience I gained in the short time I was there in Wichita with Landvest.
I had a wonderful experience working for Landvest for over 7 years. During that time I experienced superb coworkers, supervisors, and owners. The leadership at Landvest centers on helping you succeed. The guidance I received during my employment aided me in my rewarding career as a General Manager with Landvest. I would recommend employment with Landvest to anyone.
I have worked for landvest now for 11 years managing the property at 3030 sycamore school rd in ft.worth rd 76133. I have found the management team to be very in formed in what today's renters are looking for. Over the years I have had the chance to meet many many people who have left a little bit of themselves with me a tiny significant mark on my life. I FULL enjoyed my time here.
I worked for Landvest for 11.5 years at the Home Office. It was a great place to work and I enjoyed all the managers at the sites. If I hadn't of moved I would imagine I would still be there. Thank you guys for the great work experience.
I work at the home office. I can not say enough about how wonderful this company is!!! The owners are amazing! Every single one of them truly care about the employees. I have never had a job where i enjoy going to work every single day! Thank you Landvest!!!
Gave renters 10 days notice via an e-mail to move out of their units the Monday before Easter weekend. Had to hire movers very last minute. I live out of state. LandVest did not reimburse the moving fees. LandVest renters paid for the whole month of April, and were forced to move out early; no reimbursement was given for the extra days that renters paid for. -UPDATE- Thank you for the reply: Unfortunately, nowhere in the contract says I will pay for a whole month of storage renting and receive half a month of storage. I have called Security Self Storage on South Lamar to inquire about my the reimbursement that is rightfully mine for the days I paid for and did not receive. I have left numerous messages. They do not answer their phones. Now their number is no longer in service. How very convenient. I am only asking to be reimbursed for the days I did not use the unit, yet paid for. That's it. This is the definition of theft, is it not? I paid for a service, and I was only given half the service. ...Never mind my moving fees into the unit, and out of the unit I was only there for a few months and never would have moved in if I had known this would happen totaling in $1500. Never mind the fact my I live out of state, had to overnight my key to Texas, and mother who lives 2 hours away and at the time had walking pneumonia had to manage my movers to move me out. I am asking for about $75 for all that. I find this very concerning that your companies cannot treat people like human beings. Sidenote, my same review on the Landvest Management Facebook was taken down. Thankfully it is more difficult to take down a Google Review. I will be contacting the City of Austin Tenants Council about this, and I urge fellow renters to do the same. Kindly do not say "we hated selling this property" or that you have empathy. You do not have empathy. I am very certain this property went for quite a bit. I am certain that LandVest knew about this deal more than 10 days ahed of time, but opted not to tell renters because they don't have to. Fine, I get it. It's business. It's pretty normal in this climate to put money before acting like a decent human being, but just own it. Don't say you have even a thimble of empathy for the people you are wronging.
A great company to work for ... they've given me a wonderful opportunity to share the knowledge I've gained over the years with others. Very much enjoy the feeling of being part of Landvest's success.
