The food wae packed with so much flavor and was so delicious. The waitress was awesome and recommended amazing dishes. Definitely will be coming back to try other dishes. Highly recommended!
If you’re looking for legit Lao food, this should definitely be on your list to try. I ordered the Khao Piak Sen, which is a Lao style chicken and noodle soup with plenty of scallions, cilantro, and fried garlic. It was a great soup for a rainy day. My friend ordered the beef laap, medium, and it is a true medium spice in my eyes. If you’re new to spicy food, I would go with a mild and you can always add more spice. Service was extremely friendly and attentive! For parking, you may need to drive around to find street parking but in Lowell, it’s free after 6PM.
Service was great and the food was delicious and quick. They are definitely adding more decor and warmth to the place but I definitely recommend checking it out
Visiting from NYC, brother is planning to move nearby. The food was excellent. We had the sausage appetizer, not greasy at all and has a bit of tangy taste that I enjoyed. The sticky rice that accompanied it was delicious. The chicken noodle had a thicker type of rice noodle which I never tried before but I liked it, it was similar to Korean kalguksu. The calamari ceviche which I thought would be raw turned out to be pan fried with vegetables but was soft and delicious. The bahnmi was great as well. Overall, the couple that runs the restaurant cook all the food in an authentic way and I was very happy with all the food.
My boyfriend wanted to try a new restaurant in the area so he picked Lao’ De Cafe. Honestly I wasn’t impressed by the look and atmosphere of the cafe when we walked into the door but I decided to give it a try. We ordered a lot of things from the menu since the price was pretty reasonable. And everything was so damn delicious! The portion and the presentation of each dish were perfect. And everything was freshly and perfectly cooked. I was really in awe. I’m from Thailand and I’m really good at cooking so I’m very picky when it comes to Asian cuisine! But I definitely gave this place two thumbs up! We even reordered everything to take home for our dinner the next day. I totally understand those who gave them some bad reviews about the service. But hey, they made everything from scratch so it might take a little longer for food to be served but it was totally worth the wait. And the hostess was super nice and friendly. We will definitely come back for more!
This is one of my favorite places in Lowell. Authentic Laos food and actually spicy! I definitely recommended coming here and helping out the small businesses in Lowell! :
The red curry noodles were not spicy! Which was an unexpected but pleasant surprise since it looks like could melt your face off. However it's just sweet with coconut flavor, thick consistency, topped with aromatic herbs and I would not share the bowl. They were both fantastic and it was a lot for the portion. We didn't end up finishing and had a doggy bag to go home. The service was good and our waiter was attentive. He was refilling my water without me asking. The price was also pretty reasonable.
Went here for an early dinner and had the Mee Kathi. Food and service were great.
My review today is an appreciation post. Yesterday right after ordering and paying for my food, I got a phone call of a medical emergency for my 4 month old son. So I left the restaurant before receiving my food. This was my first time there so I was disappointed I didn’t get to try their food. The owner is a stand up guy and remade my order the next day. He didn’t have to do that and could have recharged me. It’s been a difficult two weeks for my son and I and for him to do that today really made smile. Great establishment. Great food. Lots of heart!
Took a friend to try some Cambodian food. The place we intended to go was closed for the day so I ended up finding this place on Yelp. Figured the food was different enough to try. We came in to an empty cafe it was a Tuesday afternoon after all. To both our surprise, the food was pretty good & so was the service figures. Will likely bring others to try this place again.
