My son got married here week after graduation from WYO. Everything was perfect, my son also said he loved the Bible studies and pastor while he was in school, so Amen!

Solid Biblical teaching with quality fellowship. Genuine care for those outside the church.

This church may be the best in Laramie. I attended this church for 6 years until I moved away in 2016 when I graduated from UW. It's a Christian church which follows Jesus based on the Bible.
Pros:
The church members are very friendly, and have lots of small groups to be a part of. I never once had a problem finding friends or activities to do for all ages. This church loves Jesus and the Bible, and it really shows.
Pastor Martin is an amazing head pastor. He's kind and truly loves the members of the church. He guides people in their everyday Christian life, and really makes new or returning members excited to come to church. He's not just some leader on a pedestal; he's friends with congregation.
The music of this church is the best in Laramie. It's contemporary and modern and performed at a very high level. It really is a great experience. I love it!
As a college student, I often saw one of the Church Elders, Doug Wookey, and he might be the nicest man I've ever met. He's really funny and tells it like it is. Very wise, and is a great example of a Christian family man.
Cons:
This isn't a bad thing, but it's something to watch out for. Associate Pastor Sam is a polarizing fellow and isn't someone to confide in until you get to know him. Myself and many of my friends didn't have a good experience talking to him before we knew what he was like.
My impression of him was his heart is definitely in the right place and he's a good guy. If you have problems or need guidance, I'd just recommend you talk to the head pastor or other church elders until you get to know Sam first.
Overall rating 5/5: Welcoming, best worship in town with many small groups throughout the week. It's a great place if you're a first time church goer and if you're a long time Christian. I was looking for a church home when I moved to Laramie, and LVC exceeded my expectations by lot. Check out their website, and try it out this Sunday.
