Outside appearance of this business may appear to be unwelcoming, fear not. Once you go inside it just like any other modern meat shop, People there is extremely nice and welcoming, any questions or requests they do the best they can to accommodate you. Don't judge this place by the cover until you look inside. To first time butcher shop customers, the unique smell is PERFECTLY NORMAL for these shops. Don't let that chase you away, those meat won't disappoint you. Anyway.. Absolutely good place to get your meat, price is reasonable. If you need a special cut, give them a call at least 48 hours. I guarantee they'll meet your satisfaction. I go here often and wouldn't go anywhere else for any meat needs.

Larry's Great Western meats is amazing. I have never purchased a bad cut here. It is truly worth the money to shop at a butcher shop of this caliber rather than buying shoe leather at the grocery store. Counter staff is friendly and helpful. I am a true fan.

I first came here back around 1992 when the company that I worked for gave me a Christmas gift certificate for $100 of meat and I could barely fit it all in my freezer in my refrigerator . It has been quite a while since I last came here . I came in with my son and daughter in law about a month ago and was amazed at how great the store looked and modern since the last time I came in . I bought a bison steak and had some sirloin steak meat ground for a recipe that I make occasionally . Unfortunately most grocery stores no longer carry ground sirloin . They have ground angus , ground hamburger , and sometimes ground chuck . Sometimes you need something of better quality even if you have to pay a little more . I would definitely recommend coming here for a nice selection of meat .

I can’t describe in words, how please I’ve been with “Larry’s Great Western Meats” if you’re looking for top quality and great customer service. This is the place! When people talk about supporting small businesses, Larry isn’t the one. This place is a institution in Las Vegas and in the craftsmanship of Butchering…. I’ve never had a bad experience, maybe just on the Day’s, they run out of “Ribeye Burgers” patties. lol Larry Not the owner is the man to speak to, if you have any special request. You won’t be Disappointed

Hands down the best butcher shop in Vegas! Anytime I go here, all staff is very welcoming and the the shop is super clean and well put together. You can tell the butcher, Larry puts his effort and skills into place to give quality product. Honestly one of the main reasons I return, the cut and quality of the meat is immaculate! I will always recommend Larry’s Great Western Meats, to locals or anyone visiting!

It's no accident that they've been in business for 50 years. All around great people, selection and prices.

I was looking for a source of good organ meat with which to put my German Shepherd dog on a raw food diet and extend his life expectancy. Not only does this butcher get regular deliveries of organ meats, but they have pre-packed raw meat meals specifically for dogs! I just got off the phone with a very nice and helpful employee that answered all my questions about finding the business location, it's hours, and options for shopping there. For disabled patrons, they accept EBT for their products. I can't wait for my first shopping visit tomorrow they are receiving an organ meat delivery tonight Thanks to the scouting call I made today I have very good expectations.

Great people and great meat. I got a whole pig from them and they were very helpful. I'll be going back again to try their other meats.
