8/11/22 - update - I visited this place today to well try it a second time since my last time which was perhaps more than two years ago . Reason why I went : El antojo doesn’t open until. 12pm and el Paisa is closed for vacation until 8/14. Instead of going to La Casona not my fav I felt like giving La delicias another try . Parked along the street . It’s free! Got coffee and buñuelo to start . Buñuelo es good . Coffee still needs work . I am telling you this place has huge potential but… It’s just the quality of the products they use . Yes, the prices are cheap but it’s because the products are cheap. I mean I don’t mind paying a bit more for a good quality meat . Service was great . Coffee tho , needs a lot of work . They don’t give you coffee in a coup . It’s on a to-go cup at least is not styrofoam which contains forever chemicals that leach into the hot liquid and then it’s ingested . But anyhow , I very much want to like this place but same update as two years ago . Now with this Economy , small businesses will suffer . In July , 40% of restaurants couldn’t pay their rent . Right now the way things are going , I don’t know how many of this mom and pop will survive . You have potential but quality of the products you use to make your food needs to be good quality . Same with the beans , rice etc. I have mix feelings about this place . I was there first time they opened a year or so ago , back then it wasn’t good. I remember seeing in their fridge milk from price rite ,and everything tasted not good ,I figure everything they were cooking with Came from Price Right . I think they changed chefs It is way better than before , but there is a something not quite right .. I am not sure if the products they buy are just so cheap that food taste strange . Their boñuelo has come a long way . I think they can do a better job with the hígado encebollado . I don’t mind paying a little more for great food! The quality of the meat is very low and it taste like it . The rice could be better. I think it comes down to the quality of the products they buy. They also could do a better job in the coffee department . You should see how el antojo makes the coffee and let me tell you, you will see a great difference if there is effort put into making a great coffee . Service was very good.
Always wanted to try this place with my fiancé ! Food was super delicious and affordable , got a bunch of their small eats to bring home , ordered about 11 items and only spent about 40$ everything was fresh . Will definitely be stopping by again . Staff is super friendly and welcoming very small family owned restaurant, highly recommend Owner speaks Spanish but she tries her best to get you everything you want and need , her son is bilingual and is there every weekend . Lucky to have a place as good as this right around the corner!

Fast friendly service, very affordable pricing, great location, friendly patrons and a very nice choice of empanadas and other menu selections. I had two piping hot empanadas with coffee on my first trip. I am definitely going back for a sit down breakfast.

Poor service No food consistency. One day is good next time who knows. Parking: Plenty of parking across the street. Not a handicap friendly place
