What a wonderful find! I was walking back from a hike and found this place. Super nice service and delicious food! I ordered chicken nachos and queso. Both excellent and I would order again. Also came with chips and salsa. The chips are those yummy thick chips and the salsa fresh. Got my food togo but they have a cute indoor/outdoor space with frozen margaritas and $1 can cokes. Prices very reasonable. Will be back!!
It a quaint little hole in the wall with fantastic food quality service and very reasonable prices. From the outside you’d ride right pass it but as the old saying says “never judge a book by its cover. My family and I will definitely be returning soon.
Ate here and was very disappointed. The waiter was just dreadfully awful. The guy seemed to care less. He brought us water that had no ice. We asked for a can of iced tea from the cooler he brought us some other kind of tea. We ordered queso right away as we asked for our water. The queso came out 15 minutes later which was odd. The food came a few minutes after. Although we requested no guacamole there was guacamole on there anyway. The waiter never came back at all to refill our water, we had dirty dishes at the edge of the table the whole time, he never collected them. The food itself wasn’t great but it wasn’t awful either. The huge chunks of beef were tender but lacked a lot of flavor. When we asked for our check the waiter kept on doing other things, it was annoying as we waited 10 minutes longer before I simply got up and went to the counter to pay so we could leave. We won’t go back.
Dropped in here for a quick lunch and was met with a friendly server and great prices. The food was just what we expected and satisfied the entire family. Outdoor seating was plentiful. It isn't the fanciest place around, but looks are deceiving. I plan on dropping in for lunch again.
I came here on a friend's recommendation and it was beyond perfect. Really nice, honest, and hardworking staff. Amazing food, even more so for the price. I had just gotten off of working a stressful 12 shift and honestly wasn't in the mood to eat. This restaurant changed that and made my appetite come back. I especially enjoyed the rice with yogurt and guacamole, as well as the shrimp tacos. Besides that, the whole restaurant smelled amazing. Everything was clean, cozy, and felt familiar in a way. It was a homely feel and I really appreciated that after a long day of work. I genuinely cannot express how much I enjoyed the experience. 10/10. This will probably become my favorite restaurant in DC. ‿
Everything was great! Food was plentiful and delicious ...drinks were really good...nice outdoor/indoor seating... Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and they also have a kids menu Parking: Street parking but easy to find Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out
The absolute best best best restaurant in the neighborhood, period! Priced right with strong drinks, menu variety, and substantial portions. Also- the best chips and salsa in town, no question! Never ever had a bad meal here. Great quick service to boot!
The food was really good. One of the better places I've eaten at in DC. I had the horchata house made and not overly sweet and enchiladas. Both were delicious. Our waiter was very nice and the owner was wonderful. The owner came over to talk to us about the food and the restaurant. Very pleasant experience.
Sorry.... The food was SO *DELICIOUS* I FOR GOT TO TAKE A PICK...!!!! Sat outside & enjoyed the atmosphere...!!! I had the chimichanga chicken and beef mixed!!!!
Accidentally, rolled up on this place riding my bike home. I loved that I was seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly. My margarita was excellent. I ordered a seafood burrito. I would order again and ask for less cheese. I will be back! Instagram @KenKooltho
