Been meaning to give this place 5 stars. I took my daughter there during Halloween and she had a good time there. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of historical knowledge available to fill your little ones' minds especially if they like wildlife. Great value and family time IMO!
There is so much to see here. Lots of taxidermy animals and neat looking dioramas. Probably the most impressive displays I have seen in a museum. They also have some live marine life. Their fossil exhibits were great along with their rock collection. If you are into ancient Egypt there is an entire section for that as well. Great place to learn for kids and adults. Free parking. Lots of discounts available including AAA!
Cute little museum with a wide range of exhibits given it's size. The lighting could be better in some areas but it's worth the $10 admission and you can easily spend 2+ hours there. The staff we interacted with were super nice and welcoming to the museum. It was also neat to have some live animals in the museum as well as stationary exhibits.
We went to this museum while on vacation in Las Vegas with our two young boys who are animal and dinosaur fanatics. We enjoyed the displays, which were educational and well presented for young learners. There are lots of good hands on activities for children. Adults without children may not get as much out of this museum.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
very kid and curious adult friendly. the davinci mechanics exhibit was so cool. there are some scale models you can test out for yourself. the museum is mapped out very easily so you can travel methodically through the building without missing an exhibit. give yourself 2 hours or more minimum to enjoy the videos, audios, and readings that go along with the artifacts. hope they continue to bring in more artifacts and exhibits. free covered parking too!
A very interesting museum so many exhibits to see all about the natural history around the world we were here for about two hours going through all the exhibits some of them were very nicely done. Many many pictures. Definitely a must see if you’re interested in Natural History. Reasonably priced for Vegas. Great place. Been coming here for 12 years. It is a tradition that my wife and I have every time we come to Vegas. Her favorite is the king tut exhibit and mine is the aquatic and dino exhibits. There is also a park on site when kids can play and have a family bbq. Just make sure you bring coals if your going to use the BBQ. Bathroom is clean at the park as well. 20 bucks to get in and well worth it to beat the heat too.
Not too big but definitely recommend! Our kids learned a lot and enjoyed the games about Egypt culture.,Sea animals and even dinosaurs! Will come back next time!
This place looked very plain and diserted from the outside, but it turned out to be on eod the coolest museums I have ever been to with my kids. DONT PASS THIS PLACE UP. A lot of the exhibits we're donated or funded by the largest casinos on the strip, and there were so many hands on things to do with the kids. Animatronic Dinosaur's, live sharks and stingrays, and so much more!
I really loved the Da Vinci exhibit. I was really impressed with the replicas and the ability to try out some of the machines. Also Brandon working in the learning lab area was awesome. He was full of knowledge and we really appreciate how much time he gave us for our questions. Great job all around.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
