I went with a group of 10 and they had a side room for us. The place had a cool vibe of an old warehouse redone. The beer/Cider list was long with ciders being their specialty. I had a pear apple cider and it was light and refreshing without being too sweet. The alcohol was 6,8. The appetizers were solid. The nachos had lots of toppings, and the chartuttery board was interesting in a good way. The sweet potato sticks were great. A little sweet and fried
Can’t get enough of Last Chance Cider Mill! The food, the atmosphere, the variety are unbeatable! I’ve never had a meal I didn’t LOVE here, from the Cider House salad to the Burmese Pork Wrap to the Cuban Sandwich, you can’t go wrong. And don’t miss THE BEST FRIES in the state here!!! Out of the world!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly! The cider house salad no pita and grilled chicken is incredible! Many gluten-free options available. Best fries in the state of Montana common fryer but never had a contamination problem.
We arrived and were brought menus and water promptly. Order was taken in a timely manner and the food was on our table in a reasonable time frame. Our server was Collete and she did a great job! I had the cider house salad; my husband had the pork wrap, my sister had house salad with a side of fries the side of fries were huge and my brother in law had the buffalo chicken Mac n cheese. My salad I added chicken, I preferred it without the chicken. My husband tried their IPA, I tried their honey crisp cider. Both were good.
Probably my favorite spot in Billings. As my husband said, “a cidery has no business having food this good!” MUST TRY BRUSSELS!!! I usually get one of the monthly specials - this month, Salmon cakes $13 and bacon and cheese patties for St Paddy’s. I recommend the Jonathan cider, which is the least sweet. The atmosphere is incredible too, they can host larger parties and as far as cidery’s go it’s very kid friendly!
There is a lot to say about Last Chance. I was in town for a little bit, and I saw the sign for the pub crawl , see that review in another post,. I love all things fermented so I was happy to get a flight of some local ciders. While they were too busy , a fork lift was doing dizzying acrobatics in the background, my waitress told us all about the process as we looked at it through the large windows and sat in front of a large fire, on the couch. Ask about why it is called last chance and get several different answers. They use several types of apple varieties, that are local grown. They also supplement the ferment from the best sugar factory across the way. Overall a good experience with good ciders.
This place was the best part of my trip to Montana. The food was incredible. Their cider is amazing. I ordered salmon tacos and had their honey crisp cider. That is the most perfectly balanced cider I have had in my life. Just sweet and tart with a mellow dry finish but absolutely refreshing. This place is highly recommended. Thank you!
This is my husband and my’s go to place to eat whenever we can’t decide. I love that it’s local, and the ciders are the best. The atmosphere is great, open and tall ceilings, beautiful tiled fireplace, and huge windows. The music is great. The service is good, staff always friendly. The food is good, I like that they do rotational items and specials, there are always some winners. For as much as we come, I’ve rarely been disappointed with my food. My only ask is that for a place that is a draw for gluten free people because of the ciders, to have more gluten free options.
Big variety of beers and ciders to try and lots of good food items on the menu! Waitstaff was friendly and helpful, and everything came very quickly despite it being a busy Friday night. Dietary restrictions: The gluten free cauliflower crust flatbread option was very good and cost $3.50 extra.
Busy on a Saturday night, so about a 20-minute wait. Very chill atmosphere. The Brussel sprouts on the appetizer menu are FANTASTIC. I'm not usually one to crave sweet veggies, but this was great. Tangy, slightly sweet, and savory. Highly recommend. The Bison burger was GREAT. Moist, medium done had slight pink which was perfect, the other ingredients added to it were not overbearing on the flavor so you could taste everything. The perfect combination. The chocolate cheesecake was great. Very smoothe & satisfying. I absolutely loved their ciders. The pearfection was smooth, wet, & on the sweet side. I also tried their limited cran-apple cider, and that was great, not bitter or tart as I was expecting, just smoothe & slightly sweet. All of that plus great service from a good-looking waiter, this place was top notch. The staff were kind as my friend and I stayed for a little over 2 hours catching up. They were great! The only thing that I wasn't impressed by was the salt & vinegar chips. They weren't very vinegar-y but they had salt. Haha
Stopped in because I love their cider. Nice selections and great menu variation. Had the brussel sprouts to start--delicious. Split a flatbread and french dip with a friend and, again, both were amazing. We sat on the patio and were served quickly. Even bought a 6-pack of cider to go!Food: 5/5
