LaTao HotPot

Had an awesome time at LaTao. It is AYCE hotpot and you can choose to share or have your personal hot pot. Great variety of different stocks to choose from, from spicy to mild. Quality was definitely there - very delicious, rich and savory broths with tons of choices for ingredients. Portions may be a tad smaller but it helps avoid food waste and you can keep ordering more. Service was excellent and they were very very attentive and patient especially since we had a few first timers in our group. Great place to hang out and just enjoy some good food as a group or family. Note that on weekends you do pay the dinner price but since it is AYCE with the full dinner menu and the ingredients are of great quality it is definitely worth it.

Got all you can eat barbecue here and it was delicious. They have a lot of options to order and the sauce bar is a nice touch. It was very busy when we went on Friday night. Without a reservation we had a 30 minute wait. They also weren't super attentive with the service, but the food was fantastic and made up for that.

Food 6/10 Great value, all you can eat hotpot. Do I feel great after? Not particularly. Each item for the hotpot had TINY servings, so we just had to keep on ordering. The broth had a really sad piece of bone with no marrow as the base. Everything just looked kind of sad. We got the hotpot kbbq combo all you can eat, and the meat was just super tough and sinewy for the kbbq. Also sucks that we have to cook it ourselves, but no matter how long or short we cooked the meat, it just tasted hard and almost unchewable. The shining light of the dinner were the flat glass noodles, love them always for hotpot. Atmosphere 6/10 Not the most ventilated, our seats were for some reason not stable so when my friend sat up our couch/seat pushed back?? Great vibey Chinese songs though. Service 4/10 They forgot some things we ordered, and again, did not provide any help with cooking the kbbq, which is a bummer.

This place is extraordinary! Not only this place is all you can eat, the price is very reasonable for what you’re getting out of it. Every time I come here to eat with my friends we order our food and it comes out in just a few minutes, there was almost zero to no time of waiting. At the same time their waiters were very nice and helpful, explaining every detail to us. We really enjoyed our time here and I think you all should too!

Family and I had a great time at latao hot pot for our first time. Menu is large and has many different options to choose from. Many different types of broths for hot pot and bbq menu is great as well. Food came out fast and staff are constant walking around so you can flag them and they’ll come right away. Wonderful service over all. We will definitely be back!

All you can eat with reasonable price in the University City near Drexel and UPenn. Feel's pretty good if you eat every one or two months.

This was my first Hot Pot experience and I am in ! It was all so delicious, and I knew my husband would try something unique, and he did. He had lots of interesting choices... from pig brains to intestines and he chose duck feet I had things I am familiar with; steak, shrimp and noodles; all so delicious! I will be back next time I'm in Philly!!! Customer service was outstanding. Servers had so much patience with Hot Pot novices

Enjoyed the broth choices, seasoning and sauces. The menu is robust with something for everyone. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING !!! Very friendly and FAST. We traveled all the way from Delaware and would do it again !

Delicious food, very courteous staff, service is quite quick. All you can eat for $30 with good quality. 10% discount if you pay cash, which I thought was really quirky.Food: 5/5
