From start to finish Laurelyn was wonderful to work with. During our initial consultations and then planning meetings she was great about getting to know my brand and then communicating a clear plan of action to not only focus on my business - but also the pillars of my brand, allowing potential clients to get to know me better. When it came time to book our first appointment Laurelyn was incredibly proactive. Reaching out with dates and times, as well as location options. Once I selected a location she handled all of the booking. We met on our session day like old friends and just as she had every step of the way, Laurelyn carried me through! We went through the venue room by room to create a plan of action and the story we wanted to tell in each. The whole time she was focused on making sure to communicate a variety of different brand pillars. The best part of all for me is that she was great about giving direction during the photos. I never had to wonder "What do I do with my hands?!" or "Does this look good?" The photos turned out amazing and I went from being anxious over brand photos to looking forward to the next session!

Laurelyn is firstly an incredibly talented photographer. But not only that, she makes the entire process easy and seamless. She uses her expertise to guide the experience so nothing is missed and she has great suggestions. She helped me find a gorgeous Airbnb for our photoshoot because having a beautiful environment for my brand photos was something that was very important to me. The photoshoot experience was so effortless. Sometimes I forgot she was taking photos, it felt like we were just hanging out. Within just two hours we were able to capture dozens of diverse and amazing photos for my brand that I absolutely love. She's seriously the best!

I found Laurelyn on Instagram and was impressed with the photo shoots that she does for her clients. The process of working with Laurelyn was incredible. We absolutely loved having Laurelyn as our wedding photographer. From the beginning Laurelyn helped make the planning process special - from timeline planning, to checking in throughout the months leading up to the big day, to being flexible with our planning during COVID. Laurelyn was a dream to work with. We could not have asked for a more wonderful person to have around us and document one of the biggest days of our lives. We've only seen the previews of our wedding pictures, but are looking forward to seeing the rest of them more than anything! Not only was she focused on making sure that she took pictures of everything she thought we would want documented, but she was so open and flexible with making sure that we always got the pictures that WE wanted as well. She never once said no to taking a picture and was always willing to do what we asked. She really understands that even though her job is to document the details of the whole day, what also matters is what the couple wants documented throughout the day. She worked with us at every turn to make our day special. She always wanted to make sure that we were comfortable and on board with every idea she had that wasn't scheduled in to the day. Furthermore, she always asked our permission if she had an idea that wasn't previously discussed, and that level of kindness couldn't be replicated in another photographer. We originally chose to go with Laurelyn because of her unique, light, and beautiful style. You can tell that she works incredibly hard to make sure that each day feels special and unique. She is obviously incredibly talented and her skills can’t be overlooked. We have gotten so many compliments on just our preview pictures!! She's a truly kind person and will work so hard to make your day special and as easy as possible. We would recommend Laurelyn to anyone looking for a photographer and would never hesitate to choose her again.

Laurelyn has been excellent to work with from day one. The entire process was well-explained and straightforward, and getting started was so simple! She has been flexible with scheduling headshot sessions with our employees as they have been able to travel to Milwaukee from all around the country. The actual photo sessions have been professional and efficient, and Laurelyn is amazing at making sure everyone has felt comfortable in front of the camera. Aside from headshots, she also took photos of our office space and we could not be happier with how they turned out. The turnaround time from getting photos taken to delivery of the final product is always timely. Laurelyn's photos made a huge impact on the design of our new website and across our social media platforms. We're looking forward to continuing to work with Laurelyn in the future and cannot recommend her services enough!
