I am so thankful I found this attorney to handle a sensitive subject for me; it was so lovely to find someone that can put themselves in your shoes with your best interests. Being a paralegal myself, I can confidently say that Leon Mindin and his staff get the job done. Yes, there were times when we were under a time crunch with lots of back and forth emails that took over a week to finalize everything, but it means that Leon must be popular & in demand given all the amazing things I learned with him. He did help me reach my deadline before flying out of town, and opposing counsel was not easy to deal with he helped me plow through 30 pages of a document that would typically be 10-15 pages. It was nice that he gave me additional legal advice outside this document for other future events in a partnership. The best part is his services are affordable with no hidden charges or fees and consultation is free, and he sends you documents with tracked changes so you can remember where you last left off. It was also nice to not be stuck on the phone with more-so email communications so he could work with my whacky schedule. I would definitely recommend this attorney for all matrimonial matters and would continue to use him in the future!

Never pay upfront unless you are 100% certain on the services needed. They may end up just not responding anymore leaving you with the Ethics section of the NYC bar or suing them... In my case I needed a prenup and Leon Mindin suggested to pay in full upfront as he would raise prices soon. He emphasized that in case of doubt his reputation is what matters to him most. Well, I ended up not getting married and when asking several times for a partial reimbursement he would turn silent and is not responding anymore. So I end up with a boiler plate prenup draft @Leon: You never sent that 2nd draft! which I could have downloaded from public sources and adjust myself. So much about the reputation.

I felt like communication was top notch, for example, Mr. mindin always gave me the opportunity to read through drafts before submitting motions and that made me feel like I was always in the loop and was able to make changes in a collaborative manner with my attorney. With Leon I always felt that he respected and valued my opinion. Unfortunately for me I actually dealt with 2 attorneys prior to this firm and I can speak to the fact that others did not give me this much attention as a client. I will make sure to recommend this firm to others who are dealing with a family law matter.

Mr. Mindin was able to get me 50% custody of my son. No weekend visit nonsense. I have my son for entire weeks and just the same amount of time as his mother and that's all the matter.
