Lawrence Landscape

I had called several irrigation companies in Lawrence. Most wont call you back. Most have no time to service your system. Lawrence Landscape actually answered the phone with a human and scheduled service within 3 days. The service techs were extremely knowledgeable of sprinkler systems and fixed my problem and a few more. They made the system better than what it was when they arrived. I'll be a customer for life and would recommend them to anyone.

Landscaping done last fall with plants and overseeding the lawn. Told new plants were guaranteed for one year. A few new plants died last fall, project manager notified, he personally inspected. He stated would replace plants in the spring. Over winter another new plant died and three more new plants just didn't look too good. Contacted project manager in March, he personally inspected. He stated no problem would replace the three from the fall that died and would replace the one dead from winter. He also recommended replacing the three that didn't look too good. "That's what the warranty is for." He told me they would be replaced when it got a little warmer. Contacted him again last week of April questioning about the plant replacement. He stated perennials weren't available yet but would be replaced as soon as they were available. By mid-June still waiting. Contacted owner. He come out (reluctantly, in my opinion as he tried to get me to deal with the project manager), and agreed that there were several new plants that needed to be replaced. He told me he would have it taken care of in one week, maybe two. One month later still no plants and no calls explaining why work hasn't been done. Lawn overseeding was a joke. Company used a mix of K-31, bluegrass and turf type tall fescue. Lawn looks like weird patchwork quilt. Once weather got warm bluegrass promptly died. Mixing the K-31 with the other types of grasses makes the K-31 look like weeds. K State Ag web site doesn't recommend K-31, stating there are better options. Workers were nice without problem except for the one that urinated behind a tree in the back yard. The project manager and the owner talked a good game about the company warranty but talk never turned into actual replacement of dead plants that everyone agreed needed to be replaced.

Sorry company. I won't spend another penny there. They sold me a product and represented it to be new when in fact it was used and cracked. Then they didn't cooperate on the replacement. They also installed the sprinkler system in our sub division and the HOA president is very disappointed with the job Lawrence Landscape did.

Lawrence Landscape does a great job of landscaping around Lawrence. I give a high 5.

Best place in the douglas county area plus local surrounding areas for all hardscape and landscape needs .
