Fantastic... The crepes are absolutely stunning. The citron crepes here are top 5 things in the city that I have eaten. You will have to wait... Service isn't snappy but the feel of the place doesn't lend itself to that.
Trè très magnifique! A southern style French Bistro serving light fare sum savoury and of course sweet crepes. Do not anticipate the very sweet sweet type of crepes that are served to the American pallet. This quaint lil neighborhood place serves crepes that are light, airy and are good for a smoked salmon, Spiniach, hard boiled egg crepe to the class classique ham and swiss cheese. The Crepes themselves are perfectly thin, not doughy at all like I've had in other locations around town or overly sweet. Decor at this new place is trè chic with black & white floors, dark drapery that jus adds a softness to the space. There is a beautiful Large scale painting towards the coffee station that is an Original by one of the owners a Can Can Girl! There is a patio coming soon, altho it isn't as nice as their previous location I'm sure it'll be quaint, and tastefully doneI'll be checking that out as soon as they have it up, more pictures to come! I enjoyed this GIANT Hot Chocolat that was phenomenal again not overly sweetI prefer drinks or eats that do not overcome the pallet with sweetness but let the item you're eating shine! Yea they do that here perfectly! Very excited to have LPZ back and now in Midtown! Pictures below are of my recent meal, not the Chocolat Banana Crepe, yea that's one crepe and it was huge! The prices reflect the location and are reasonable.
I enjoyed lunch here last Thursday for the first time. It is such an amazing little gem with a ton of character. I can't wait to see it in the summer time when I can enjoy a nice lunch on the patio. I wanted to have a light lunch, so I opted for the ratatouille with chicken, also a side of the curry carrot soup and fresh brewed coffee. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive and my experience overall was wonderful.
Nice quaint little cafe with a few selections for brunch. The quality of food is excellent and the presentation is also thought out nicely. Overall would reccomend if you're craving French foods.
This is one of the cutest little cafés downtown! The crepes were delicious but their menu does offer more than just crepes. The most impressive thing was the mocha! I ordered a mocha and when I saw them carry a bowl I thought it was soup for another table but it turned out to be my drink. My friend and I had a good laugh at how huge it was, well worth the cost. The street parking makes easy access to the reasurant and the atmosphere is chill and cute
I love the new location! Its larger than the last location but there is no outdoor seating now. The food is delicious and the waitstaff is very nice. They take reservations with a $10 deposit for parties of 5 or more. We went with 6 people at 10:30am on a saturday and we were fine without a reservation. Plenty of room for us at 2 tables pushed together. Will go there again for the soy-latte served in a cute icecream bowl alone! Large portions and the fruit is very fresh.
Always great food, chill atmosphere. My picky teen loved her Nutella crepe and actually talked! I enjoyed my honey crepe which was thin with crispy edges but nicely spongey towards the middle. Our tartine was warm and crunchy. We sat by the window, people watching, and enjoying the sunshine. Love this place!
Love this little cafe with made to order crepes and hot chocolate
Our service was sadly terrible. Couldn't get a knife to save our lives. Would not refill coffee and the staff was either distant or rude!!!
It is a very cute and quaint little restaurant. The service was nice but a bit slow and the food is a tad bland for the price. I had the eggs, brie, greens, potatoes, and croissant. The croissant with jam was delicious but I wish the eggs had been seasoned. Will go again to try the crepes and hopefully change my rating from 4 to 5 stars.
