Story

Jumana is an artist who came to America from Damascus, Syria, where she worked as a restoration artist and designer in ancient cities. She now teaches design, painting and interior design at Montclair State University. She loves Montcliar, but has missed the ancient market places, or souks, of her home country. LeSouk is a little piece of Damascus here in Montclair: the flavors, the spices, sweetness of traditional snacks like LeSouk pudding. Art and artisanal treats for every occasion.
