We've been producing fine creole candies in New Orleans' historic French Quarter since 1933. Our confections are handmade, using only the best ingredients.



"Located in the heart of the French Quarter, Leah’s Pralines has also been in the same location for over 75 years. We are a small, family-owned and operated candy shop where everything is handmade. In addition to a variety of pralines, we make brittles, frosted pecans, dessert sauces, artisanal chocolates and a full line of Creole seasonings. Come visit our store, smell the aroma of candy bubbling in copper kettles, and sample our traditional pralines and our decadent bacon pecan brittle. We heard from a local that this is her favorite praline shop in town. I’m honestly not a huge fan of pralines myself but these were delicious and just melted in your mouth. Not to mention the guy at the counter was really friendly and helpful.
I thought I hated pralines until I tried them from this place. Might be a bit more expensive but the quality is so much better. The service was excellent, the person helping me out was incredibly nice and warm. Try the chocolate turtles as well!
Best pralines in town!! Make sure when you go you get at least a box because they’ll be gone in no time. There’s different flavors but the original is my favorite. A window behind the counter looks into the bakery area and they even sell the broken scraps at a discounted price still just as good. Support local
The pralines and turtles were delicious. You can tell they are made with quality ingredients. The customer service was pretty good as well. I've found a new sweet shop!
Customer service was good. The place is cute and clean. My husband and I had their traditional praline and chocolate pecan turtle. I was impressed with their chocolate pecan turtle! It tastes very good and is the right amount of sweet. It was also my first time ever trying a praline and was happy with the taste too!!
Tasty pralines and pecan brittle. I liked that they offered to let me sample anything I wanted, except the few items that were unavailable for sampling eg praline frosted pecans.
Their pecan brittle is the best I've ever had! I bought the pralines for my parents and they thought they were incredible. It's a really sweet shop in a good location. The service was wonderful.
Great service but the highlight was the bacon brittle. OMG! Delish! They have all kinds of sweets and offered to give samples of the brittle before purchase.
Friendly sales staff. Willing to allow tasting samples for many items. Variety of sweets, cute bags to give with purchase.
Excellent service pistachio milk chocolate bar was delicious
