We feel so grateful to have found Leo and hired him for our summer wedding at Waterside Events. Hiring a talented photographer was one our top priorities, especially since my husband is also a photographer! We inquired with many different photographers and Leo was different from the start. Leo emailed links to several *full wedding albums* to allow us to review his work in its entirely vs. just seeing his highlight reel. This is not standard for all photographers, but it should be! Leo was responsive via email and patient with our many questions. He included a 30 minute engagement session with our package which we did in Liberty State Park 2 months before our wedding. Although we had already done an engagement shoot for our website photos several months prior, scheduling this shoot allowed us to meet him and become familiar with his shooting style, and also practice for our big day! We felt comfortable with him right away. He had a teaser photo available for us within days. His work truly is art, and he captured so many stunning shots we printed for our guests. The day of the wedding he arrived early and was very calm. As a veteran in the industry he knew our videography team the fantastic Christopher Antice and they worked together seamlessly, rolling with every chaotic element that happened during our day, including being sprayed with a fully bottle of champagne by mistake! without batting an eye. We had a last minute change of location for our first look due to rain, and Leo had no trouble setting up and delivering the most incredible wedding photos. Group shots, solo, family formals - everything was done with ease. Leo kept an eye on the timeline, and was kind enough to ask whether we wanted to do night shots, with no pressure. Although we were having a great time at the reception we left for a few minutes and were glad we did. Seriously - do the night photos! Those ended up being some of our most iconic shots. Our photos were revealed to us during a Zoom meeting with one of his associates 8 weeks after the wedding. We were initially VERY skeptical about the meeting, assuming they would try to upsell us, and thought we’d be committed to only including the 20 album pages included with our package. In the end we were so grateful for the meeting, and there was no pressure at all. We loved every photo so much we ended up adding many pages and upgrading the album pages without being encouraged to. In the end we couldn’t be happier with the process and the photos which we have used as gifts for our parents and will print as photos for our walls. He’s talented, kind and a true professional.
Leo is an extremely talented and professional photographer. I was impressed with his talent and work when I was reviewing his work during my search for a wedding photographer. He is not only technically talented, Leo has a great eye for detail and captured so many moments that I will treasure for a lifetime.
From the moment I saw Leo's work, I knew he was who I wanted to photograph our wedding. His creativity is beyond anything I ever expected for our photos and he exceeded my exceptions from just our engagement shoot, which got me SO excited for our wedding. Leo was very down to earth and easy to talk to, he made us feel comfortable from the first time we met and his work spoke for itself. He really did go above and beyond with our wedding photos, I still look at them in awe 4 years later and fall in love all over again!
Leo is the sweetest and most professional photographer. He shot my wedding 4 years ago and I was so worried we wouldn’t get great pictures because of the rain but I was so wrong. He has such talent and creativity and delivered such wonderful silhouette pictures and stunning shots filled with such emotion. My favorite was when he ran up to us when the sun was about to set and caught this wonderful shot when the sky lit up red. It was magical. My husband is not a fan of getting photos of himself taken but because Leandro is very laid back he barely noticed he was even there. We loved his work so much that when I was pregnant with my second baby we had family photos taken with my then 18month old. I didn’t know where to get photos taken that would optimize the beautiful colors of fall with my family and Leo suggested the best place. My daughter was very shy at the time but he got her to open up and caught her sassy wild side. I’ve never been happier with the colorful and warm photos that he captured for me. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family whenever anyone asks for a suggestion.
Talent aside, my favorite thing about Leo was his open communication and organization. Starting from the day we hired him, Leo navigated our postponement nightmare seamlessly. Moving forward to our engagement shoot, we set a date, time and he was there to perform; and he PERFORMED. Even his assistant was so sweet, and their job is never easy. We shared our tight schedule with wanting to send out our "save the dates," and Leo delivered a gallery for us to use within days. The shots were his infamous moody, artistic vibe, which we fell in love with from the beginning. Fast forward to months leading up to the wedding, Leo emailed us regarding our itinerary. He wasn't the type of vendor I had to keep on top of. Leo didn't make us feel like a number; he answered every text message and email promptly. Now, his talent; I'd see his photos pop up on my Instagram for almost a year before even getting engaged. I was in awe of his bridal party shots and would compare them to a scene out of the Godfather. Leo is a pleasure to work with, and any couple is lucky to have him. Don't base your photographer or any vendor for that matter based on your venue's recommended vendors. Had I done that, I'd have your basic, cookie-cutter photography. Hire what YOU love and you'll be so happy you did. We hired two photographers to capture our wedding day from every angle and we're so excited to receive our gallery!
When searching for a wedding photographer, my husband and I had 3 criteria that we were not willing to compromise on: 1 Pictures must be classy and unique, not cheesy and the same old shot that every couple has 2 there must be more than one wedding photographer, to be sure to capture the bride getting ready in addition to the groom and 3 the photographers must be professional, not a fly by night shop that would be out of business by the time it was our wedding day. We found all of this and more with Leo and his team! From day one, Leo treated us like good friends, not clients. He was with us throughout the wedding planning process, in addition to our big day. Even after our wedding, the great work that Leo did continued. He is conscious of every detail, from the quality of our wedding album down to the box that the USB with our pictures comes in. We cannot say enough good things about Leo!
Leandro did both our Engagement shoot and wedding and we couldn't be happier. I am extremely picky and I initially had a different photographer that I had used for my engagement party who I ended up not moving forward with once I found Leo. He knows all the good angles which is extremely important because your wedding is one day, and if your photos end up bad you can never re capture these moments. I love every single photo, he captured the essence of the day impeccably and still made me look amazing even after hours of dancing and running around. The best in the industry! If your as picky as me about how your lighting and angles are, you can't go wrong with Leo.
When I first saw Leo’s photos on Instagram, I made it my mission to have him photograph our wedding. I have never felt moved by photography until I saw his work. Our wedding was just this past Saturday so I won’t have the photos for a few months, but the one he did send . This man is a genius, and I am so happy he was available for my wedding. Leo captured our wedding day perfectly. He is very professional and his creative vision jibed with the vision we had for our wedding. He listened to our ideas and put his own twist on what we envisioned, which was perfect because he knows what would work and wouldn't work more than we did. He captured our happiness and other positive emotions of the day. We still book anniversary sessions with Leo and will book him soon to take photos of our son.
