I thoroughly enjoy my weekly classes. Carlos is a terrific teacher, and I think that my classmates would agree that we look forward to Spanish class. Learning a language especially for older adults is hard work, but the hard work pays off with time and believe it or not, can actually be fun. I highly recommend Learn Language Hoboken to anyone with a hankering to challenge themselves and to try something new. I think this can be an especially rewarding experience for retirees, but also for parents whose children are languages in school, as well as travelers.
Alex is the BEST Spanish teacher I have ever had! I took a class with him last year and then moved to Florida so I couldn't take more classes, however, during the quarantine, I was able to take another one of his classes online!! He is just as engaging and effective online as he was in person. He really makes sure that the class is comfortable and goes out of his way to make sure EVERYONE understands before moving on. He keeps everyone engaged and motivated. I wouldn't go anywhere else now that I have found an amazing teacher. Just signed up for my 3rd class with Alex.
I took Intermediate Italian with Learn Language Hoboken and had such a wonderful experience! Not only did I learn a lot, but I was constantly laughing and smiling through the entertaining teachings of our instructor and lively classmates. My Italian improved so much and I just had a blast! I really loved my class. I ended up moving out of state or I would have continued my studies here. So much love for this place! I would recommend this place to anyone. What a gem!
Learn Language Hoboken is the best! I took 3 private lessons before my honeymoon in Spain have previous Spanish language experience to brush up and it helped immensely. Signed up for two group advanced lessons in December and looking forward to them! Highly recommend.
Adam was absolutely wonderful as a teacher for my first German class. His enthusiasm and patience was absolutely outstanding and has encouraged me to continue studying German. While I’m still unsure if I will do a formal lesson this upcoming season, I will absolutely be continuing my studies in the near future. I can not stress enough what a great experience I had learning German 1 these past few weeks. Looking forward to learning more !
