Neat place to see some salmon and learn about their life cycle. They also have problem beavers that they remove and relocate to places where their dams are more useful to the ecology. There are several nature trails behind the hatchery that you can meander down on a nice day with views of the mountains.
Beautiful fish hatchery to visit. Self guided tour allowed and well kept. We learned a lot about Coho Salmon and what the hatchery does to help these amazing fish.
WOW!!! What a gem! Learned, saw, and did a lot. The park ranger was most pleasant and personable. Plan on spending a bit of time here and enjoy its peacefulness.
Good place to drop the tube in at. Then float to waterfront park. Took about 3.5hrs with water flow unseasonably low. Plenty of others looking to jump in here to party down the river
A great federal resource providing a gap between natural fish and farmed fish.
Nice place to visit.
Great place to explore. A very cool theater space if you come for the summer shows.
Legit fish hatchery with beautiful butterfly garden and very helpful people working that walked us around. Great stuff for kids too!
We loved seeing the adult salmon and clear water.
