This place has very good food and is a great Asian atmosphere with very artistic architecture. Would definitely recommend!
A neighborhood favorite. Have been going there for 20 years since it opened. Beautiful interior, Japanese garden views from restaurant. Has Japanese and Chinese menus also Hibachi cooking. Delicious food, excellent service.
If you like Ramen bars or consider yourself a connoisseur of good food and you haven't tried Lee's Spicy Noodle Soup, you are missing out. I moved away from the area but had a date there last night. Quiet setting by the garden pond. We both had the most massive bowl of food in front of us. It's that spicy affair, where it touches the limit; any spicier and it'd diminish the experience. So much flavor, I highly recommend it, if you can't tell.
i ordered $25 worth of food to be delivered. I did not get one of the things i ordered. I called back and was told I could get a credit the next time I ordered. I am not from Atlanta and only here on business. I ordered from them because they delivered and I tipped the driver well. All i asked for is a refund of the cost of the item I did not receive. My job pays for my meals so it isn't about the money. It's the principle that this business was paid for something they didn't produce. I understand things happen and me not getting something I ordered isn't a big deal. The fact that they couldn't refund me on a credit card payment is fraudulent.
I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS IF I COULD. We went here for lunch and it was the most horrible experience ever. The first Margarita we ordered had a bug in it and u could see all the pieces of the bug, the 2nd drink taste like juice n mix and we finally changed the drink to something else. I asked the manager was he going to discount our check since they had to replace the drinks 3 times n had a bug in the first one and he said we didn't charge u for the 1st two drinks and we replaced them for u. Duh, dumb ass, why would u charge me. They don't know good customer service at all n this place needs to be shut down, selling bugs, bad food n bad drinks. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AND THE FOOD WASN'T GOOD EITHER. BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE PLACE!!
Hibatchi wasn't that great and was more expensive than my usual spots. Charged extra for rice which I've never seen at any hibatchi restaurant. Chef basically covered the grill with vodka and lit the entire table very abruptly. Almost caught himself on fire. Poor experience for the price. Does have a nice atmosphere however.
Food is great & delivery is fast. With that said, it's pretty annoying that the driver expects a certain tip amount and sighs when yours doesn't meet his expectations. Also, they tend to forget the drinks more often than not. If you don't mind dealing with the annoying driver or the extremely high price tag for a chinese place, this is the best chinese you may find in town.
The service was terrible. It's like they didn't even want us here. The food was even worse. Was had some steamed dumplings and I thought it had pork toothpaste in them. I came home and I'm 99.9% sure what I ate gave me food poisening. I was up at midnight in what I'll phrase as "discomfort"...ha! Never eating here ever again. They couldn't pay me to eat here.
Eaten at Golden Buddha twice in the last few weeks. New Year's Eve being one of those nights. I'm pretty sure they're using MSG so be aware. Only because of how I felt afterwards. The beef and broccoli was tasty I wouldn't order it again. Then on New Year's Eve it felt like it was 60 degrees in there all of us were wearing our jackets and cold cold cold. The food was better that night and I had the honey fried shrimp it was very tasty.
Good option for lunch for Chinese or Japanese hibachi/sushi. Not as crowded for a late lunch or early dinner when the service is better. A good selection of chinese entrees and both cuisines include a soup and/or salad.
