I went to Dr. Kubonoya at True Family Clinic for help with knee pain after my knee replacement in January of 2020. I didn't know what she would be able to do, since I was in constant pain. I was taking opioids but wanted to be able to decrease the dose. Dr. Kubonoya performed acupuncture, it was the first time I'd had acupuncture. She also did electrical stimulation through the needles. It didn't hurt. After the first session, two days later the pain completely went away, and I had been in severe pain for weeks. The pain came back, and I kept going to Dr. Kubonoya every week and the pain would lessen. Finally, when I felt it was time to stop taking the opioids, I suffered severe withdrawal, headache and chills and exteme weakness. That is when I really saw remarkable effects from her acupuncture treatment for opioid withdrawal, I walked out of her office cured.

I needed an emergency acupuncture session as I woke up with horrible lower back pain. I called the clinic and they were super accommodating to see me the same day and the service was perfect. I left the office pain free. Thank you so much for seeing me on such short notice and for being awesome at your job.

Dr.Yoriko is an awesome doctor. Sometimes I struggled with  breastfeeding my baby. My milk seemed not to come out enough and I also felt tiredness, no energy, dizziness. So, I asked her to prescribe herbal medicine for me. After I started taking her herbal medicine, my breast milk came back and I could feed my baby enough, and felt much energetic, and stopped dizziness. Even more surprising, my postpartum hair loss got so much better! I am really happy with the result. I highly recommend this clinic especially to postpartum moms like me. Thank you Dr.Yoriko!

I have been suffering from lower back pain and bursitis in my hips for more then 10 years. I have been on pain pills for more then 10 years for my lower back. After 10 treatments I have gone 2 weeks without taking a pain pill. I have tried injections for my bursitis in my hips. I only have had temporary relief. After the 10 treatments of acupuncture the pain has been reduced by 85%, I am now able to take a nice walk without having sharp pains in my hips. Yoriko Kubonoya, OMD is amazing. I wish I would of tried acupuncture many years ago. Yoriko and her staff are all wonderful. They are very friendly and concerned about your well being. I highly recommend you try acupuncture.

Dr. Yoriko Kubonoya is amazing. I began going to True Family Clinic for vertigo and have not had one single episode since. I get the acupuncture and Gua Sha and it has helped me out so much especially with dealing with my daily stress caused tension. I am currently working on blood tonic and Qi tonic and hope to see great results and improvement with my blood. Would totally recommend to anyone.

My first visit was in April. Before that I had chronic back pain and autoimmune disease, which caused joints pain. Injection on the back did not work and medication from rheumatologist was disturbing my vision and hearing. I was hopeless. However this acupuncture made miracles. Most pain has gone. Dr. Yoriko is consulting my diet and supplements as well. Now I am visiting once a month to maintain the balance. I thank God that I found this clinic!

Amazing. That’s the best way to describe. Yoriko is an amazing doctor. I went in feeling heavy due to my anxiety and I came out feeling light as a feather. The place is very welcoming and relaxing. It really helps ease if you feel a little anxious if you’re getting acupuncture for the first time. I’m definitely looking forward for next time!

Visited for my skin problem and constipation. The clinic was very calming and nice! Doctor went over and discussed all my body conditions first, and gave me acupuncture. It didn't hurt at all. After she recommended taking supplement. It has been a few months now and constipation got much better and my skin problem resolved!

I have been to the true family clinic twice so far. Dr Yorico is awesome. She sure did me good. If you are having problem s please give her a try. She is Awesome. Her office staff is also the best.
