Leighton Animal Hospital

I remember as a child my parents taking our pets to Dr. Leighton. To this day, as a senior, I still take my 7 sweethearts chihuahuas to see him. He's an excellent vet, very caring, and prices are extremely reasonable. I would not use another, unless a specialist was needed, such as eye surgery, etc! You will not find a more caring, understanding vet. He never rushes you in and out. Spending time with me, and my dog, when they are ill, or in some trouble, is of the utmost importance to me! The most difficult thing will be when he retires, and trying to find a replacement vet, as there will not be another one like him. I cannot give him a high enough rating..he knows how important our furry, forever friends are to his clients. He is what some might call, and no joking intended...a "dog whisperer"!!! He is very understanding, and shows great care, and compassion to his animal patients, and their owners!! You will not be sorry you take your pets to him...He is just "THE BEST EVER"!!!!

Incredibly well priced. I took my cat in for hair loss and they ended up keeping him overnight for tests. Between the office visit, overnight stay, vaccines, tests, and take home medication I didn't even spend $150. The staff was sweet and attentive to me and my cat. Incredibly happy with the service I received.

We love Dr. Leighton and have been seeing him for decades. He takes good care of our dogs and you can tell he loves animals. He's no frills and affordable while still providing a high quality of care. We hope his successor will maintain his wonderful legacy, but we aren't ready for Dr. leighton to retire!

I literally called 15 different veterinarian offices for quotes, and over the phone diagnostics that were realistic with my dogs symptoms. Most of them told me the worst case scenario, and wanted top dollar, even when I told them I had little to give. Then I found Docbecause he totally looks like doc from back to the future he instantly knew what was wrong with my dog, treated him, and sent me to the most wonderful receptionist I've ever met to give me a price no other vets met. Thank you for the care, and love you put into your practice.

My husband and I went to several Animal Hosp. And found that Leighton was the best. In the State of Oklahoma. Love their staff. We will miss bringing our dogs to see them. As we had moved out of state.

He was our vet for decades. He could usually look your pet over and tell what was wrong with it without running a lot of expensive tests, witch alot of other vets would do. He was a great person, and will be missed.

I don't recommend easily, but these people truly care about your four legged family member. Caring and reasonable cost for the care and love your pet receives. I highly recommended if your looking for a good vet.

We have used Dr. Leighton for 30 years. He's caring and it's obvious he has a love for animals, and caring for them. He certainly rates 5 stars!!!

This is probably the best veterinarian in Oklahoma but it doesn't really matter as they are hardly open. A couple of times I've taken off work to buy medicine during hours they are supposed to be open but when I get there nobody is there.

Dr. Leighton is a doctor that truly loves animals. A wonderful man and a great place to take your furry family.
