Excellent service. Friendly staff. Couldn't be happier with our purchase from Leisuretime.
March 2018 - Follow-up to my original review: We had a recent power outage due to a snowstorm that caused a problem with our hot tub. Casey from Leisuretime did an exceptional job of quickly addressing the problem and getting us working again. This company goes above and beyond to take care of their customers and I highly recommend them.

My wife and I recently moved Woodbury with our college age daughter and our teenage son. While it wasn't a factor in our decision to purchase, the house we bought has a Hot Springs brand hot tub that is about eleven years old. I got to wondering what was needed to maintain it properly. The prior owners left some chemicals, accessories and brochures, but no manual. I've never owned or maintained a hot tub.
I contacted Leisuretime of Southbury, where I thought the tub was purchased, and I dealt with Casey, the owner. Casey and an employee, Barb, coached me through draining the tub, filling it, testing the water and treating it, which was a three day ordeal I started on a Thursday.
On Friday, I discovered a leak inside the tub's access panel coming from the valve controlling the jets. I called Leisuretime and spoke to Barb. Casey was off for the day. I asked about parts for the valve, but Barb wasn't sure and suggested I speak to Casey on Saturday. Later on Friday, I discovered a second leak coming from a check-valve. I removed it and brought it to Leisuretime. Despite her lack of familiarity with the parts, Barb took it and tried comparing it to parts in their inventory and found me a replacement, which I installed to stop the second leak. By that time, however, the leaking had shorted the system damaging a pump and causing the breaker to trip repeatedly.
On Saturday I called Leisuretime and spoke to Casey and scheduled a service call for the following Monday, but Casey said that, if the day allowed, he'd try to get to us later Saturday. Sure enough, later that same Saturday, Casey came out, spent a couple of hours working on the tub, including a couple trips back to the shop for parts, and got the tub running. Aside from some chemicals and the check-valve I purchased, all the time and service Leisuretime provided up to this point, including a couple visits by me to their store and about six calls, was free of charge. Furthermore, given the time Casey spent on the hot tub and the parts replaced, if it had been a service call for repairs to some other appliance, I would have expected charges far exceeding what I was charged for coming out, on a weekend, and getting the tub running so we could use it that night.
I learned that Leisuretime has been locally owned by Casey's family for thirty years. If they treat all their customers the way they treated us, it's no wonder they've lasted that long. While owning a hot tub wasn't something we were planning on, for as long as we do own one, Leisuretime will be our go-to vendor for service and supplies and, if and when necessary, a replacement tub.

Great service, friendly, knowledgeable and quality rental equipment! Took a little long to set the bindings that I wish I would have known before but they made the best of it. Worth the extra money for the rentals in relation to other rental shops in the area!

Time to face reality, this store sucks! Now.... here's why.... Im glad people say its a good ski store because I can agree with that, he has a fine selection of ski's.... but they try "other" business and they need to stop....focus on the SKIS!!! Honestly, I used to go here... I was loyal...then I met the owner....... the day I met him he must have been having one of those days.... but it is no excuse to treat people like that... I know this guy is losing business left and right to the other guy down the street and I can understand why after meeting him, but logically be thankful for what you do get, which he is NOT.... So instead of being able to shop in my local town of Southbury.... I shop in Oxford.... hey... I bought a big green egg from that guy too, but all of my spa chemical needs are taken care of, and my next hot tub will come from there too.

A shout out to Tom for adjusting my boots. I came back to pick up my son's ski's and mentioned that I was having a hard time with calf pain with my own boots. I had the boots in my jeep and he told me to grab them. After a quick look the problem was evident and he adjusted them right then. Later on that day, my son and I went up to Mohawk and my boots fit perfectly. No pain at all after several hours of runs. THANK YOU!!
